So its slowly getting there, but its gonna take a while yet. What does everyone think?
Is looking great, I'd prefer the grass and vegitation to be more savannah inspired, but we get to that later.

The things you are doing with the tileset are great! May I reccomend you find some more things you'd like to do with multiple stories, ask shewter if you need some more pieces made.

That bridge needs a new texture.

Can we have a Bazzar somewhere that is completely covered by suspended housing? Then we can have an interior section of the city with appartments and shops indoors Vivic style.

And you need to turn off snap to grid when placing furniture and crates, I can really notice the lack of rotation.
 Progress!

I do like the delicate flowers in the garden - delicate and cats seems to go together.

Scratching Posts please - cat-persons need these to keep their claws sharp! Plus they are great stretching fun.

The savannah-type grass is well thought - cats like a mixture of grasses - lawns to bask on, long grass to hide and to play = long feathery stuff esp! and yellower maybe?

The wooden balconies and lots of them are good

Makes me think of middle-eastern cities where you can see interconnected rooftops that you could walk on for miles without your feet touching the ground - in such cities there are two communities = the streets aground and the walkways on the roofs - add in the Khajiit indifference to 'personal' property. + cat on a hopt tin roof - where all go to admire the Lunar Lattice.

Also there is still that thought that I have not done much about - entry/exit, walkways and climbing for feline persons.

If you read 'Dance in the Fire' much is made of Khajiit travelling through or ambushing from trees! So the climbing part is essential (and not just regarding trees). Though it may be frowned on in other parts of the Empire, as they are already worried enough about Khajiit thieves, it needs a place here.

Maybe (tileset modellers please forgive) some walls could be wooden, set at a slight angle, with slats or bars inset for occasional purchase?
yes, I'd already changed the grass to a sandy texture, and it looks much better. As for the exotic trees found in the gardens, its all due to the botanist and his wifes hard work that they manage to grow at all.

I'd like those cloth canopies i found in shewter's thread.

I agree that the bridge needs a new texture, as it looks awful in game (before the collisions stopped working.

The theif's road idea sounds great, i need some really long wooden planks to be made to cross the streets.

The indoor bazaar sounds great, I'll see what i can come up with.

At the moment the highest story I've gone to is three. it looks a bit kooky to go much higher

I have a few things I'd like shewter to make, but i need to go some concepts, to show how they should look and how they will be used. Also a few minor corrections to existing pieces.
looks cool, although, whether its the models or the lighting, it seems to look a bit flat to me...

Anyway, as there is a botanical garden here i'll step up the plant models to number one priority (that dumb ape can wait Tongue)

Comments?
looks really good JKJ but there is something odd about the corners.. its a model thing.. it just seems too straight to me... I think it looks unnatural since the bricks are so rough cut... should probably have put that in shewters tileset thread but nvm. I really like the look of the place.. just those corners (its not the ones with the butress, its the ones which cut off sharply) are too perfect looking...

Edd
Those look great JKJ. :goodjob:
I like the platforms, or balconys.
The indoor bazaar is also a good idea, but I think it shouldn't be an interior, it should be a group of buildings that have overhangs, or canopies, that have merchants under tham. Much like the traders in Gnisis, in Morrowind.
The thieves highway is a great idea, you guys should include the Thieves Arsenal mod in there and use the vine arrows to climb up to the planks easier. Thats what I do in the IC.
Thanks.
Looking fantastic, though I have no idea how easy/difficult it will be to navigate.

The corners are a little sharp, but its nothing awful and may be needed for the snapping set.

The texture on the wood squares needs to tile.
I'd say maybe a little too much planks at the roof.. the player should have to jump from time to time.. (from higher to lower ofc)

Personally I'd say the roof textures are in dire need of replacement. Another thing concerning textures is that in the (some) screens they look out of place together. I seem to be on a texture kill spree but when I look at it most of them is also extremely prefect in the brickwork.

(I might have been a little hard on the textures)
