Ok I have not posted in a while so heres what I have got done so far.

Idle animations for katana: jodan no Kamae, Migi waki no Kamae, Hasso no Kamae, chudan no Kamae, and one nito-ken like stance.

2 forward , and 1 backward animations

and 1 block animation.

And Just for fun, I made a power attack animation that looks like a quick draw upwards :bananarock:. Its somewhat buggy thogh. Ill post pics later when I get the chance (dont have internet anymore, posting form cousins house).

Sorry for not posting much. I managed to play around with scripting a little bit and have been trying to use Corthian's building models. Somehow I managed to cobble a little quest together where the player joins a dojo and gains ranks in some kenjutsu style that I made up Wink. But im having a difficult time figuring out how to have the player gain ranks. I was thinking of having the player spar different swordsman of the school based on the players level of blade. Here are a couple pics. Oh and I threw in the two sword idle anim. that I been meaning to post.

I sure hoped someone would figure out those Tilesets. Those look awesome! I can't seem to see any of the new animations though, that was what I was most excited for.

Ive been trying on my free time to figure out how to do animation in Gmax and make different npc's use unique idle anims. So far I havent had any progress on any of them :eek:.

As for not seeing any of the idle anims, that could be because I made them wrong or sent the wrong files with my work :confused:. I should proly go and test them out again. I was gunna make a esp file for it, but every time I go to click on npc animations the CS crashes :eek:.

For those who want to use them drop the kf file named onehandidle.kf in the meshes/characters/_male file and it should work. But all the npc's will use the same idle. Also some animation replacement mods use the same filepath so you might end up replacing the current file named like that.

If that dont work for ya just blame me then Wink

And as a general question, do you know if you can make specific races to have certain animations unique to them? I'm thinking that in the long run, different races or groups could use different fighting styles.
