Welcome back. Something went wrong with Vista on my laptop. I had to do another recover. It is going to take another day or so to get everything set up again. ?(
Good luck with that. I feel your pain. My laptop has a Vista "infestation" as well.
It looks like I got everything up and running again. It appears to not be possible to safely uninstall Oblivion from a vista OS though.
Would not that be better for you if you had Win XP?
I work on music with my laptop having XP installed and I honestly don't have any complaints.
I tried to get it downgraded to xp when I bought it. I was told that was not an option.
