I'd prefer to have something on youtube that is more like a fully completed trailer / promo. Anyway, I converted the videos to MPEG format and crunched down the filesize by a huge proportion. The results are quite poor quality but you can see everything okay and it's not such a huge download: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1267925/Mokumalata2.rar . Let me know if this works.

As long as it can be edited without too much trouble (preferably without coding knowledge) then I'd be okay with a reduction in overall quality. With regards to memory limits, would I be able to link up images that I might host on photobucket so that it effectively isn't using so much of that 3GB memory? I would tend to believe that we can do things like embed youtube without too much trouble?

What sort of fee do you think we're talking about? Can you get a quote from potential hosts?

As far as editing goes then as long as you, me and any other core member has moderator priveleges and can do stuff without too much hassle then, at this stage, it would just be nice to have something there to say it's our own. =)

On One.com it'd cost a notch below £50/year. That's like a weeknight out on the town... if you have no friends. I could look around for others, if need be. I remember I was using dataflame back when I lived in England, but they offer less stuff.

Anyway, to me it sounds like what you want is a wordpress; posting updates in the form of blog posts and having a few static pages with screenshots, videos, faq etc. The whole practice is easy, simple and stable. You can use photobucket if you want but 3GB is a lot of space so I imagine it wouldn't be necessary. We can pick a theme, I'll modify it to make it BM-esque, and then that's that.
