It sounds good to me. What better way to take revenge on his successor and also to "prove" that the original break-out couldn't have been his fault...
Thanks for your excellent support there in my absence, Deeza. :goodjob:

This all sounds really good, JB....was enjoying reading through the ideas.
FYI, I think I have a really cool idea for the Stranger's House. You might like it. Here goes.

OK, you enter the place and it's actually full of debris, broken furniture, maybe even flooded a little. Cobwebs, dump, moist. One big mess. There might be a note from the Stranger's former partner, where he would mentione that he turned the place upside down and was suprised not to find the Stranger. He might point out that he saw him entering the premise a couple of times.

Then there might be a kind of a secret enterance, leading to a small complex of flooded tunnels and somewhere in there, there would be an entrance to a basement, the actual "safe haven" and Stranger's house.

That would make the place more of a Stealth play, in such case. Maybe some traps, too.

What do you think?

Also, I'm not going to do the Stranger's House right away, as I do some preliminary work for the "castle" project. I'd like to begin the castle thing and have the Stranger claim sort of up the sleeve. The castle will be a big thing, so I will need something different for a change at some point.

P.S. Does anyone else around here do the Interiors or am I the only one? Big Grin
That sounds like a good plan to me.
@ jb3 - yeah, there are other people around here who do interiors, besides you.

Ibsen and Deeza are two such people. They are probably busy with other things at the moment. But trust me, they've done a lot of interiors in the past.

I don't do interiors, since my branch is modeling and the like. And I still have a backlog of requested 3D stuff.

No, I didn't mean that, KP.

Besides Ibsen and Deeza, who are two giants. I can't believe they did that much. And you KP, you are a modelling genius, so it's a great partnership. You made so many excellent models! You all do and did an incredible job. :applause: :worship:

Yet are there other active members of the team? I think Face was active, I'm not sure if anyone else...

Oh and we still have Alexius, who can't find this Forums. He says maybe he made a typo in the URL address. He would like to do a claim, but he doesn't know where he should post. Big Grin He said he tried many times silgrat.com but nothing happened. He threw away his keyboard as a sign of frustration.

Ah, my bad. Yeah, I misunderstood what might have been worrying you.

Morcroft is still considered a part of our team, though his main focus is Elswyr (found on this same forums), I believe. Morcroft knows how to use Speedtree program, and he also is a great modeler (plus, he knows how to do texture baking from high poly to low poly models, which I've yet to experiment with in Blender).

I think DozNeT still does interiors for us from time to time. Not sure about his current status right now, tbh.

ShadowGame is an awesome modeler, he drops by sometimes, and when he does - BAM! - little modeling gems are flung our way. He is really good with high poly model modeling, and that texture baking that morcroft mentioned in another thread. So his models have extra oomph, because of that.

But sadly, a lot of the people who say they want to help out, don't really help out like they promised. Sometimes I think a few of those just took on more crash-course learning curve than they could handle, so they slipped out from the scene.

RE: Alexius

Alexius needs to replace the "t" in his web type, with a "d" = http://www.silgrad.com

Either that, or he needs a new keyboard, me thinks.

No shit? It would be a laugh to have him around. =)

Yes, we have many totally uncommitted or unskilled modders drifting by. Deeza and I do the vast bulk of the work but some others have been very instrumental in the past. I just can't see how others looking to join a large project would consider not giving us more prolonged attention. We sure as hell aren't going to drop out of sight at this stage of development....but there you go. The modding scene has always been a little like that. Suffice to say that I consider many people here as a friend.
