Oh, plz use Exnem! I'm a follower of that body! As a matter of fact, I'm the official Chronicler of the History of the Eye Candy Forum! Anyway, if you use Exnem as tha base for armor, clothes, adn the like, I won't have to use two body mods!

Nooooo. I was getting worried because you had'nt been on the forums in a while. I hope you will continue to keep in touch.
Where are you moving to in the U.S.?
- Ysne - 10-10-2007
I live in the U.S., in Minnesota. What part are you moving to? Sorry to hear you will have to close up shop for a time.
Yes, ... - Kielanai - 10-10-2007
Last couple of weeks have been ... different. But, I think I am able to pull things together and look forward again now. I will be moving to Washington State. I lived there a long time ago for about three years around the Dyes Inlet area. It reminds me a lot of northern Japan with its blue forests and rocky coasts. I'm going to miss the snow, though. I am very very sad to be leaving Japan, and I admit a little nervous. I don't want to go. T_T But there are multiple reasons why I must do this at this time, so ... I will go in spring. I don't know where in Washington I will settle this time yet, but I hope to come back to Japan in the future at some point. For now, I just have a lot of "finishing and planning" to do before moving time.
I will make some corrections on the Drow mod now that it is released. (Development Screens: Drow Fortress) It's mostly done, but I need to be sure there are no errors.)
I have one correction to make on my smaller drow home now that I know how to do a better basement door. But that one is then "FINAL".
And I will definitely finish up Kojima, hopefully before I leave for Kyoto in November. The great thing about working on the Drow mod was that it gave me a fresh slate for working on NPC's and I learned some things that were only frustrating me in Kojima. Now, I will go back into Kojima -- delete all AI packages for all NPC's and redo them similar to how I did the Drow. The only thing is that experimenting with body replacers and screwing up on the Vim and Vigor installation ruined my save games. My male characters have no lower bodies unless they are fully dressed. My female bodies have different colored heads and torsos, and the drow and dark elf female hands shine like ... well, ... they shine! And when I try to remove the body replacers the games lock up, so I think I'm stuck with my mistakes, ... which means I can't test properly in some cases. I did finally get Vim and Vigor to uninstall without locking up, but when I try to reinstall it, the eating food produces no packages. So, basically my PC will starve, drop unconscious and then continue to drop unconscious every five minutes because she can't eat. Can't play that way, but I miss not being able to add that realism to my game.
Once Kojima is done, I think I will have to uninstall everything and do a thorough cleaning. My computer will love me once more, and I can start over with a lighter load. However, there is really no point in starting fresh just as I am having to pack. I think I have until January before I absolutely have to close up shop. ... Unless my computer crashes before then. I probably should not press my luck.
So, ... it's a big setback, but at least I have time to prepare this time. This weekend, I may be going to Towada again, or Morioka. Next weekend, I have Halloween parties I have been invited to, and may go back to Gonohe to see friends and do pumplkin carving. (I love pumpkin carving.) Then, I think my Kyoto trip is scheduled for the first week of November. Anyway, everything is kind of packed so no free weekends, making it difficult to get blocks of time to finish Kojima. I could do it in a week, but that week will have to be spaced out over a longer time now because of my schedule. :/ It's frustrating.
*sigh* Ganbatte'ru ne./ I just keep trying, ne.
It's all I can do for now, but I WILL do it!!! *fierce, fierce* :bash:
... Btw, Jexsam, nice to meet you. ^_^ I actually want to use Exnem, but it has fewer clothing options and the drow body looked more blue than black when I tested it -- which would have been fine if she had a blue face, but ... the color combination was very off. Again, I can't tell if this was my game or my mod because my games are screwed, but Exnem does a better job with displaying Corthian's Tseasci textures than the others. ... Even though I have yet to figure out that tail problem. *scratches head* Anyway, I'm not close to solving that problem yet, but I do love the Exnem mod, so please keep up the good work over there!! ^_^

Fewer clothing options? Are you sure you looked hard enough?
Nah, I'm just joking. Overall, Exnem dosen't have TOO much in the way of clothng. Armor, on the other hand, is plentiful. I'm sure if you went over to the forum and asked, someone could convert a few clothing meshes for you, and a couple of people could do some skin textures... Me? I'm not a modder, I'm an idea well. I throw stuff out in the open for consideration.
So she IS Tsaesci.............Looks good, Kielanai. I can't wait for this sucker to wrap up. I wanna play it!!

And i highly appreciate it when people do that sort of thing :goodjob:

Shame I haven't had much chance to get to know while I've been gone. Then again, you're still around until Spring every now and then.
Yes, here and there. - Kielanai - 10-14-2007
Right now move estimate is for March, but January is when I really need to not be distracted by other projects and things. January and February will be very busy, ... possibly December, too. Depends on how house hunting goes. If I'm out before then, it's probably because of dead computer. Don't want to buy a new one right before a move and take a chance on movers breaking it. (They did that once already several years ago, so I don't trust now.) *snort* So, I would wait until after the move and buy one there if this one croaks.
Anyway, I have injured my neck so I did not go away this weekend like I thought I would. I couldn't do anything BUT modding, so I updated my Drow Fortress and worked on Kojima all day. After taking a good look at the list of things I wanted to do with Kojima, I have decided that the best thing to do is just get a workable BETA out as soon as possible. The other stuff can be added as I have time.
So, today I stripped down all AI, proofed all texts, and set a basic AI back in for all NPC's. Tomorrow night I will try out Ra's bamboo and let everyone know how that goes, but I think everything else (more faces, more homes, shrine, more foods, scripting, etc.) will have to wait for another time -- or wait for the Akavir mod altogether. For example, I removed the Tsaesci character because I was spending too much time trying to make the tail work when I could have been finishing AI for all the other characters. I still get no torso, whether I attach it as tail or put in inventory as clothing. Someone else may have to try and figure that one out, but one thought occured to me that I did not check before deleting it. Corthian said something about chest armor -- I did not want my Tsaesci to wear armor. Also, my Tsaesci was female, but I assumed any armor would be male because the other armor was mostly male. So, if the tail is dependent on the chest armor for some reason, that could be why it didn't work. In the CS it gave funky, long stretched shapes and made her "unclickable", like when a female shirt is put on a male character. So, ... maybe the tail was male only? Anyway, that is a puzzle for someone else or another time.
Getting Kojima packaged for uploading will probably take the rest of the night tomorrow night! It has turned into a monster. If my Drow Fortress had to be split into three files, I dread seeing how many Kojima will be now. It's actually crashing my CS periodically. -_-* I'll of course have to give it some final tests. So, if nothing goes wrong, I'll have it ready by Tuesday or Wednesday night my time (Tokyo time). Then, you are welcome to use it as a test island or whatever you want for Akavir. I have already advertised the team in the resource book, but I will include an actual link in the read-me. ^_^
Now to go take some pain medication and pretend my neck doesn't grind when I turn it ... igh:

I think that's it, the npc should be male, and wear the armor Corthian made for it.
What happened to your neck?
- Beremat - 10-14-2007
Actually, the tsaesci just has to wear corthian's armor. The armor is rigged in some special way, and so is the tail. THs is why the armor is required.
