LEts not argue, lets just put up a poll, "should we use spears for Hosmer, or not? They don't have to specialize with spears, it would just be a handy weapon for the Hosmer, use it for a hiking stick, and if any enemies come, back them off with it.

the transparent glass texture I can do easly, but what is the blade supose to look like...? and it it compleatly glass? or is just the blade glass? if I had more detail I could make this happen.

For transperancy iin Oblivion, you must use the alpha channel of the color map. May we keep the mesh for tweaking?
