Ok? I'm a bit lost? So each race has a symbol, Senmer's symbol being the six armed god, but each city has a different version?

Not each city. Every different flag/banner/tapestry/rug will represent it differently because they were made by different people.

Do they have one? They are tribal, they have no need of it. The americans didn't have symbols because it served no purpose. The purpose today is nationalism, which has its uses, good and bad (nazis) but it has no place in tribal society.

I think it works good as a spiritual/cultural tapestry. That's all it realy needs to be, if we get all specific with "this is their banner" It seems silly, now having one banner around a city a lot is fine, but saying something like that is, once again, silly.

but some tribal people use symbols for defining a union of all the tribes of one ethnic group
they have symbols and flags for their own tribes but also ones for their entire ethnic group... as they recognize their whole people, but are all split into tribes... some do that with tatoos, others with paint, and others with large icons and monuements...

a symbol used by the whole race would be simple; all the mesoamericans worshipped Quetzalcoatl, the Plumed Serpent, in one way or another. The motif of a serpent ready to strike should easily fit the Volsmer.
