This thread is to describe and discuss the plants and fungi native to Aldmeris.


Carpiogos (Heart Root)
Appearance: most grow less than three feet above the ground. Long, thin serrated leaves. They are harvested for their large, oval taproots. Said to be quite tasty.
Alchemical uses: Has several restorative properties.
Location: They can grow in very high places, and can take extreme temperatures. They are found mostly in high places; commonly eaten and farmed by Senmer and Vesmerkaz.

Ulsilar (Grace of the Sea)
Appearance: Named for its vibrant colors, the Ulsilar plant grows from wherever it's anchored to the water's surface. Small leaves sprout at regular intervals along the stem.
Alchemical uses: Ulsilars are beautiful, but are among the deadliest plants native to Aldmeris. Ulsmer warriors are known to poison their arrows with its sap.

yeah, I'm also going to make an animal thread, we should be thinking up this sort of thing early; it's really hard to make lots of unique organisms (took God or billions of years of nature to do that naturally)

I've been practicing modeling as well, but it's too confusing, I have no idea how to actually put the model IN the game, or use it for a race in CS or anything, I just know how to make really simple ones

I will definatly try my hardest to learn modeling well, but don't expect much from me...

Wyxsen (Snow Lily [lit. Lily of the Snows])

Appearance: two to four feet tall, white stem with pale flowers, which are blue, violet or red, depending on the soil's acidity.
Location: cold areas, common in tundra and taiga.
alchemy: The Senmer and Hosmer (if we decide to use them) eat the petals for warmth when the temperatures get too cold even for them. Some experienced alchemists have even made a poison that sears the victims body from within.

Cataxtl (meaning unknown; name derived from the language of ancient Volsmer, before they adopted Aldmeric language from the Cresmer)

Appearance: Tall; most reach a height of twelve to twenty feet in height, with dark brown, leathery bark and long, flat green or yellow leaves.
Alchemy: (not found in game) the bark is remarkably like leather, in fact, is is used to make some Volsmeri armor.
Location: throughout Vovols.
