Guild (Hosmer) - Frozen Guard |
|
After the war of Vosterver (see Lore) and the many minor conflicts
following it, the group of Hosmer who defied the council, fighting the
Cresmer and their Vesmerkaz mercenaries, slowly formed into a highly
organized underground resistance force. Over the centuries since their
origins, their mission moved from defending their homeland to making
war with the Cresmer, becoming a mercenary guild almost as effective as
the Vesmerkaz. They are dedicated to fighting the Cresmer and their
allies; the Guard view them to be enemies of their way of live and
their freedom. Most Hosmer dislike them for bringing violence to their
lands.
They allow anyone to enter who is truly an enemy of the Cresmer. An
initiation rite for new members is to find, and kill, a patrol of
Cresmer soldiers. Members consist mostly of Drethmer, but leadership
almost entirely Hosmer veterans.
Quests would be mostly assassinations or raids.
e.g. A Cresmer general is moving to relieve another one at the
Drethmer front; when the old general comes out of the fort to meet him,
kill them both. Extra pay for each Cresmer helmet you bring back to
base.

That sounds cool. What will the ending be like for this guild? Will it
have a plot or go-kill missions? (not a bad thing, just asking).

There will be a plot of a factional split within the Guard, as one
group begins to target Cresmer civilians, another group wishing to keep
with tradition (and decency) and only target military (if you know the
history of Zionist separatism in the late 1940s, it's pretty much like
that. Look up "Palmach" and "Etzel" online). There would be some nice
massacres you can join or stop, in which whole Cresmer villages and
towns are slaugtered.
I'm also thinking of a bit where you can sneak into a Cresmer fort, to
kill a Senmer armorer who started working for them. You find out that
he's only doing it because his wife and daughter are captives of the
Cresmer and will be executed if he doesn't comply. So you can choose to
kill him, leave him be, or free him and his family. This can lead to a
small plot in itself.

That sounds very interesting to play through. I dont think anything should be changed.
