Hmm... well, here's Vesmerkez sword sketch. Didn't really imagine it this broken-flame-like, but I simply couldn't ressist making it. Anyway, those dark shards in the blade is metal, how it's called :D . Handle and crossguard are imagined to fit with the blade, but are also different from it.

Well, I'd say from rock-hard obsidian with metal shards in it.

Any comments on design? Should I continue with this look or someone has better idea?

Here's possible Cresmer sword/saber. Nothing fancy, just variation on typical Elven design. Those white dots can be either gems or holes, whatever you preffer. Wink

All the weapons look cool, but maybe you would like to include something more....extravagant? Most of the swords in the drawings were short. To me maybe the uses of these cool looking short swords might be for ritual purposes in a couple of tribes off the coast of Akavir. This occupies a scarce territory. I'm not sure if yall have discussed the mainstream weapons on this continent or not, but what of those weapons?
I'm thinking of something more....enchanted. obviously yall are not gonna let a noob like me walk in and take over the show, especially when ideas have already been put down on the table, but we could really come up with some great ideas. If akavir's weapons come from this forum, then we should make it good.

We weren't planning on the weapons being small, those were simply some concepts. But yes, we are still working on the weapons, and your help is much appreciated.

Hmm... what do you mean by extragavant? In most my sketches, I'm also trying to make weapons functional.

Looks good, the proportions are a bit off on them all, but that's better tahn I can do.

The spear is far too ornate for the all purpose handy spears of the hosmer.
