another pencil drawing, this time of a small volsmer city, going with
the Aztec/Mayan theme. I did this as much for the mod as I did to
practise drawing.
here it is

It seems far too static for the tribal volsmer.

I thought so too, I'll do another, more compact and hidden looking version once I get better at drawing in perspective.

it looks sort of like the "Mound Builders" of Etchotowa... ancestors of
Cherokees and Chicksaws and such... Mississipian cities...
if you look at it... Iroqious, Mississipian-Cherokee, Toltec-Aztec,
Toltec-Maya, Armaya-Inca were always the more dominant civilizations in
America... oh sorry for off topic...
Volsmer is forest folk... wee lit'le forest folk, queer folk indeed I say Baggins... queer folk are abroad...
umm... how about this... something that immitates the Chinampas of the
Aztecs... the floating gardens... how about they make a big moat and
literally the only part of the city on dry ground is the temple/palace
structure and large causeways... and the rest is on stilts of floats or
is moored between great water-trees... and these water trees also keep
the city intact and so people can moor their floating homes to the
trees and also collect enough dirt and muck to make a platform for a
farm, held in place and protected from intense erosion and being washed
away by the larg trees
but that might be copying the Aztecs too much.... and the Spaniards called them savages

I like it, but I agree, it should be more compact with more of a forest enviroment.

Well, first off, it needs be in a forest. And the Volsmer cities are fairly compact, with tall houses.
