The Aldmeris project started on August 3rd 2006 and closed on October
15th the same year. During it's brief lifespan, this Beyond Cyrodiil project explored the fabled (some would say imaginary) homeland of the Elves. Heading the project were brothers Aetherius ("Ascendant of Aldmeris") and Orodromis ("Elven Adjudicator").
Their project met opposition for several reasons, one of those reasons
being the vague support for it's existence in official lore. Several
core members stepped down in mid-september due to personal conflicts,
which was discussed openly in the thread "Resignation... Again".
After that the project kinda lost momentum and trickled out into
nothingness, ending with Aetherius practically stepping down and
Orodromis simply leaving. A quick vote on the Officer's Lounge ensued,
and the support was there to close the books and archive Aldmeris'
presence on these forums.
By default, the threads on this board sort alphabetically by topic.
Due to the prefixes I added, that sorting order separates the threads
according to which subboard they used to be on. By using the header
links you can sort the threads in other ways, like for instance most recently posted to.
The forum structure used to be:
-Aldmeris General
--Aldmeris Architecture
--Aldmeris Armor & Weapons
--Aldmeris Concept Art
--Aldmeris Core Board
--Aldmeris Landmass
--Aldmeris Lore
--Aldmeris Quests
--Aldmeris Races
¤ The architecture board only had one thread, and so wasn't deemed to need a prefix.
¤ The core discussions were made public both because the books are
closed on Aldmeris and because Aldmeris only uses one board in the
Archive.
To conserve server space on silgrad.com I have outsourced most of the
attached images from these boards to FileFront. Links to the individual
archives are posted at the end of each thread that. You can also browse
all the archives in the folder "Aldmeris Images" on my FileFront account.
NOTE. The architecture was recreated when the boards were archived in html form on July 6th 2008. This portion in red was written directly to the html page you're currently viewing.

My pet peeve: huge images in img code. I reserve the right to make any such image clickeable thumbnails whenever I see them.
