Or in the Western Reach, somewhere.. A recent move to the east, to help
with the security problems? Wouldn't be the first time something like
that's happened with the Fighters' Guild.

Lots of work for these guys here I bet one of the busiest provinces.
Such as escorting, shipping goods, transporting wages and alchoal sorry
if I miss spelled long day, attacking local Lords estates farms
villages warehouses.

There's certainly no shortage of work. Heck, we could even have a sort
of schism developing amongst them... maybe one group is wanting to
focus on the Western Reach's security, whereas the other wants to stick
to the more traditional method of protecting shipments and such.
Though, I guess that's too much like the whole Blackwood Company ordeal, which I just remembered.

FG also takes on more dangerous quests in politics in Daggerfall,
including tracking down political assassins, potential threats to a
royal bloodline (the K'Avar quest), etc...
These jobs are somewhat rare though.

There is also the everpresent possibility of intervening when a magical
experiement goes awry... say a gate accidently gets opened or a magical
experiement runs amok.
