Here's a list of possible alchemic ingredients (broken down by source) that we might want to pick and choose from for the mod. All of these are drawn from the "Daggerfall Chronicles" hintbook by Bethesda. (Ingredient charts are on pages 116-119 inclusive).

I'll try to avoid duplicating any items already present in Oblivion. Also note that TES 2: Daggerfall had a much simpler alchemy system, so ingredients had only one alchemic property each. If we use any of them another 3 would have to added. In some cases, the alchemic property may also not be compatible with the alchemic system in Oblivion and may need adapting or outright changing if used.

Plant Based Ingredients
Twigs: Slowfall (substitute - Fortify Acrobatics?)
Pine Branch: Resist Fire
Red Berries: Resist Fire
Yellow Berries: Fortify Personality
Green Berries: Damage Health
White Rose: Fortify Intelligence
Black Rose: Silence
Yellow Rose: Polymorph (substitute - Invisibility?)
Red Poppy: Drain Strength
Golden Poppy: Charm
White Poppy: Drain Intelligence
Black Poppy: Drain Magica
Yellow Flowers: Chamelion
Clover: Fortify Luck
Green Leaves: Jumping (substitute - Fortify Acrobatics?)
Root Bulb: Regeneration

Metal and Mineral Ingredients:
Amber: Resist Fire
Jade: Water Breathing
Malachite: Silence
Turquoise: Resist Frost
Ivory: Resist Frost
Lead: Slowfall (substitute - Fortify Acrobatics?)
Gold: Charm
Platinum: Invisibility
Mercury: Fortify Speed
Brass: Jumping (substitute - Fortify Acrobatics?)
Sulphur: Resist Fire
Copper: Detect Magic (substitute - Detect Life?)
Lodestone: Jumping (substitute - Fortify Acrobatics?)

Animal and Creature Based Ingredients
Troll' Blood: Regeneration
Animal Teeth: Resist Poison
Scorpion Stinger: Damage Health
Snake Venom: Resist Poison
Ghoul's Tongue: Resist Fire
Orc Blood: Fortify Strength
Spider Venom: Paralyzation
Basilisk Eye: Cure Paralyzation
Gryphon's Feather: Slowfall (substitue - Fortify Ahtletics?)
Mummy Wrappings: Detect Treasure (substitute - Detect Key?)
Nymph Hair: Fortify Personality
Lich Dust: Fortify Intelligence
Dragon Scales: Spell Absorption
Fairy Dragon Scales: Reflect
Wraith Essence: Drain Willpower

As mentioned, these are things to choose from. We could also combine ingredients into one item, such as with the various Poppy and Rose ingredients. Some will not make it into the game or might be unique, rare ingredients which might be found as part of a quest or treasure horde.
