I'm not sure if I have the authority to post this, but I couldn't resist...

If there is to be a High Rock main quest, wouldn't it have to do with the dissenting Nobility trying to recapture the province (Possibly by resurrecting the rubbled fortresses)? I've got a feeling that this issue has already passed and that I'm missing something...

First of all, you have the athority to post pretty much anything, its not like we will kick you out of the forum if you have an idea. Wink I like the idea there, but I'm not really sure what I can say about the main quest right now. Not much has been said so far so your now missing anything.

a few considered ideas in the past have been...
- fast but fragile expansion of Evermor and Northpoint ..... will it last?
- Orsinium's internal troubles and the Reachmen and their place in High Rock politics
- rise of Wayrest which rivals the dominance of Daggerfall-Camlorn
- mysterious stuff having to do with the Dirennei Tower (Adamantine)
- some weird connection, Adamantine tower and Yokumer... far fetched but worth discussion
- issues with Farrun, Shornhelm, andJehanna trying to stay independent

I dunno and of course to add to that list now...

- in time of turmoil, descendents of lords and nobles seeking to create their petty kingdoms during time of Oblivion

personaly I think something daling with driving skyrim out of the east would be neat. interprovincial tension is good, especialy since the peace with HF.

again personaly, I dont think that playing heavily into the towers is a good idea, since its is likely to confuse just about everyone. not to mention that not much is know about them anyhow.

also, yokumer is not a [bleepin] word. its left hand elves if you are refering to the elves of yokuda. [/random lore-geek rant]

just tellin him/her that theres been much discussed and that seeing the variety and far-fetchedness of some ideas, his very sensible idea is very good

my personal idea would be how the traditional powers (Daggerfall-Camlorn) and the new Wayrest-Orsinium deal with the Nord expansions and how Northpoint, Evermor, and the independent nations try to survive while the stronger states are watching, waiting, and seeing what course is best...

but hey, my idea wasn't too popular, maybe it'll be now...
and plus, I hate tower crap... so mytheopical... just play with down to earth stuff Wink Yes :D
