Are you guys down and out with this mod? I mean at this rate it seems
that you won't be done for a decade. What exactly is the hold up? Do
you need more modelers, texturers or cell designers? Is it over now or
are you guys still going to make high rock? I don't mean to sound rude
it's just that this mod, and skyrim, are the provence mods I'm looking
forward to the most. But while the Skyrim mod is makeing very good
progress this mod is lagging behind. Do you need help? Maybe, if you
havn't tried this already, you should make a thead in the main elder
scrolls fourms advertiseing this mod the whole community and ask for
help with it.
Again it's not that I wish to sound rude it's just that I would really like to see this mod get released!
Plus, what does it take to be a moder? Does it take expensive softwere?
Cuz I would gladly learn to mod and help you guys it's just that I am
unemployed at the moment and don't have the kind of money to buy
expensive softwere (only have 650 in my checking acount and I have to
make payments to the gym and my car insurence).

Gryssar our leader is/was very injured and has been rarely active...
most of us who helped him start this up here are also leaders of other
mods, I am leader of 2. Until he returns in full force the mod probably
won't be as active as it was awhile back. It sounds terrible but yea
we need helps, all sorts, modders, modelers, anything we can get
and by the way, that $650 don't sound like it'll last long...
unless you be frugal buy a pizza and a bag of rice every week, and shame on you if you spend more than $15 a week!
Well, that and find a job... flipping burgers to get by isn't a shame,
its a priviledge... until a better job comes along... good luck with
finance! This post has been edited 1 time(s), it was last edited by KuKulzA: 2007.04.08 04:39.

lucky for me I'm only 19 and still live with my parents
. So my money should last long enough for me to get my GED and get a
job at VECO or something. But still like I said I would like to learn
how to create cells, models or textures but don't have the money to buy
any softwere. But if the softwere is free then all I need is a link to
it's download.

Hmmm, I should probably edit that message...
Anyway, like just about everyone else said, this mod isn't dead, it is more like a hibernation.
Feel free to join us modding if you want to, just come here to claim something.

I can't read core posts , but When I looked at the main board some days
ago it said the last post here was on a topic called time to get this
show back on the road , is that in any way related to the fact that
there isn't a lot going on right now ? And the ST mod also had a dead
period in when there was nothing claimed , and now it is fine again ,
there will be a period where there is more activity again , I'm sure .

Well I will probably help you guys after I learn how to make cells. It
might take a while but hopefuly I'll figure it out. Plus I would like
to model and make meshes. For instance I have an idea for a new grass
that would look something similar to this : http://www.biosurvey.ou.edu/okwild/image...coneflowers.jpg
A grass that is a bit taller and "flowery" then regular OB grass.
Something a you would see in France. The OB grass seems, at least to
me, somewhat southern european kind of like northern Italy. I might be
the only one that cares about grass but hey that's just me
.

Yup, that's me, as I've already stated in the core forum, I have
completed rehab after the injury and am now waiting for my salary to
get an internet connection and buy another video card and a second
monitor.
Soon as that's done I'm gonna bring this mod back to life.

Heya Max!
Good to see you. I am poking around too... I have some downtime from my other business that pulled me away.
I'm just going to poke through the forums and see how things are...
been a good long while since I last had the free time to sneeze, let
alone look around on the boards.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Addendum:
Well, after looking around, it would seem things are quiet, but not completely dead here. That's good!
I'd also like to mention that I am still not at full liberty to return
to modding, but I want to keep my hand in. I said I would return once
my time freed up, back when I resigned from the core team, and that
still holds.
Finally, I wanted to know if anyone has noticed the effects of the
changes to the TES editor since Bethesda released the update for it.
According to what I've read we can now (finally!) merge mods once more.
Any experiences with it and if so are they good, bad or indifferent?

Wow, I'm quite amazed that I missed this post!
I was hoping you'd show... and there you are! YAY!
Anyhow, I've been trying to get ahold of the other core members and get
them together in an AIM chat to discuss the revival of the MOD (IF
that's at all possible)
I do hope that we're gonna see more of your face in here from now on. Your contributions were absolutely invaluable.
