Core Team and Contributions (Updated 21 01 2009) |
|
We have some updates to the team as follows - currently our core team consists of:
Gyssar (Mod conception, 3D modeling, concept art, forum moderator, Daggerfall city design, wearer of many hats) - INACTIVE
Braggi (Concept heraldry, encouragement, asset management, Jehanna design, Lore de-tangling, forum sweeper) - INACTIVE
Deeza (Orsinium concept and design, book writing, Lore de-tangling)
The Old Ye Bard (Shornhelm concept and design, provincial
architecture, city and settlement architecture, 3D modeling, texturer,
concept art, forum moderator, source imagery photographer, book
writing, lore master, wearer of many hats)
Tabber42 (Concept work, Wayrest design)
The rest announcement is to make clear how we stand on contributions to the mod.
The old High Rock project had a very different way of handling creative
input based on the number of members the team had as one major factor
and the number or modders available as another. This time we are doing
things differently, as follows:
1. If you have an idea or a piece of artwork you would like to
present as a concept for a creature, a region, a faction or what have
you, don't wait for one of the core team members to say "yes". Feel
free to open the idea up in a thread in the relevant forum. This way,
anyone can add an idea or concept at will and we can all look it over
to see how workable it is. This will also allow the team to add in
whatever we may have developed already on the subject in question.
2. The core team is aimed more at steering the mod, instead of
controlling it. High Rock is going to be a product of all of our
creative abilities - the team members are there to help that happen.
3. We want to keep the core team small and the modding base
large. This way everyone is allowed the maximum of creative freedom
with a minimum of management overhead. Being a core team member is more
like riding a workhorse then a knight's charger - we want results and
that means we have to work.
In other words, feel free to start things up folks. Our job is to keep
it accurate, on track and to help you get used to things like posting
format and the like.
