Here is re-do of my original sketch of Jehanna city, touched up (as best I am able - I am no pencil artist Tongue ) and labeled. This covers the basic vision I had for the city and I suspect the terrain of the new HM will have something I can adapt or accommodate this to.

:)

i'd switch the guilds and UC areas with middle and lower class. it makes sense that the lower classes would be located closer to the mines and warehouses while the upper classes are away from the dirt and grime. I like it :)

Thats true, but I would also have to ask which way the river goes?, like, you wouldn't have the poorer people getting all the clean water while the rich get the dirty water that the people wash their cloths in and such.

Thanks for the criticism folks. The nice part about concept work is that its easy to change.

LadyN: Looking at it from that perspective does make sense. In fact, I like it enough that I'm going to adopt it. :)

Tabber: Good point and you know, I should have indicated the river direction! The basic alignment of the city is that the river flows from the Wrothgarians on the Skyrim border downwards towards the general direction of either Farrun or Cloud Spring. I envision the overall terrain of the city to be fairly sloped, downward and in the general direction of the west/northwest.

Based on your observation about the water quality, I may have to rethink where to put what. Hmmm....

Senten: Thanks for the encouragement! Don't be afriad to jump in with anything you'd like to add to this thread or any of the others. :)

Good criticism folks. Keep it up!

Good job!

I'll do my best to get a revamped version of this up for tomorrow - it's mostly just a matter of swapping text around.

Update

OK the changes have been applied and the new version uploaded to the original post. Have a look and let me know if anything else comes to mind.
