In a similar vein, Gyssar is only able to connect infrequently due to his home internet service being down. We will post it here as soon as that is sorted out for him.

Also, Deeza has mentioned that he will away for one week's holidays after this weekend. I look forward to his post regarding his return in about a week's time.

Due to a personal emergency on an offline friend's behalf, I will be tied up for the next three days. (The long and short of it is this friend is an arthritis patient who has been kicked out of their apartment by their landlord while in rehab for ankle replacement surgery. I'll need to help them move and get things sorted out.)

I'll get in and poke around as much as possible over the next few days, just please bear with me if I am not as available as usual during this time.

Ok. To keep things short:

1. Sorry for the absence people, my ISP (read: irresponsible stuck-up peabrains) were having some sort of trouble with their European back-bone for the past two weeks. I'm writing this from work, so I can't really check the status of my line, but I just got a call from them, saying that the situation seems to have been remedied.

2. I'm gonna be posting a hevty piece on Daggerfall in the lore forums this week, so look out fot that, I'll be looking forward to getting input on that.

Well, I had planned on poking my nose more the last week then I did. My apologies folks. Had three house guests for a week from across the country, so that ate up my time heavily.

All right folks. The last two weeks was utterly nuts, with real life clobbering me right and left. Between bailing out my friend and then having visitors from across the country who stayed for a week, I was one busy mod leader. Tongue

Thanks very much for you patience, everyone. For those of you who are students, I imagine the beginning of September was a particularly busy month for you as well - new classes, in some cases moving to your school, and so on.

At any rate, I back, I'm still (mostly) sane (or at least as sane as I ever get - grin) and I'm ready to to get things rolling once more. I really appreciate your patience!

Hi Folks, just checking in to let you know that I am recuperating (slowly) from the kidney stone problems.

I am starting to feel better however, my sleep patterns have been seriously messed up due to the attack. The pain has kept me awake a number of nights for the last two weeks so I need to get myself back to something approaching normal again. Once I have that sorted out, I can get back into the groove here at High Rock.
