Lord Eir Dirreni

Owned Property: Lord Eir Dirreni's Estate (Shornhelm)

Poltical Standing: Lord, and advisor to King Orthaniel Andorak Septim (of Shornhelm)

Requirements to Court Npc: 30+ Fame, or in 'good standing' with the Shornhelm Court, or already holding a title in High Rock (e.g. Baroness/Baron, Lord/Lady, etc). Must own land, and must have a disposition woth Npc higher than 50%.

Sexual Orientation: (Closet) Bisexual

Character Biography: Lord Eir Dirreni has been an advisor to the Andorak Septims for three of their generations, and has a high reputation within the Court of Shornhelm. He owns the largest Estate within Shornhelm, seperate from the Dirreni family Estate owned by close relatives of his within Clan Dirreni.

Courtship Questline

After reaching one or more of the Requirements (and owning land aswell as 50%+ disposition with Npc), Lord Eir Dirreni will approach the Player (if Female) and ask formally to be able to Court them, or can the player can approach them about Courtship (if Male). Once accepted, Lord Eir Dirreni will once a week present the player with a random gift (Sweets, Flowers, Jewelry, Artifacts), and will send an invitation to the players house(s) to set up a date at the Red Diamond Hotel in Shornhelm. The 'date' consisted of sitting down at a table with Eir and talking, which checks on the player various skills changing how interaction takes place (if the player has a higher strength skill, replies will appear in Dialogue take rely on this skill (e.g. boasting about how strong they are, etc)). After this 'date', based on how the player interacted and the players disposition with Eir, he will ask the player to stay the night with him (in a suite at the hotel) (or not if the date didn't go well), agreeing will boost your disposition with Eir, declining will not affect disposition.
After this, the player will be asked by Eir to prove their worth to him by going into the Crypt of Hearts and returning a family Heirloom to him (a Cuirass), when the player gets to the particular Crypt housing said Heirloom, the Ghost who once owned the Heirloom will appear, and give you their blessing to marry Lord Eir, aswell as giving you the Heirloom, returning to Lord Eir and giving him the Heirloom will give a diposition boost and +1 to fame, aswell as freeing up the option to propose to Lord Eir if the player has a Wedding Ring and has their disposition with Lord Eir at 90% or higher (if the disposition isn't up this high, the player can give gifts to him raising his disposition until it is high enough).
After proposing, the players wedding will happen as soon as the player has the funds to help pay for it (1000 gold), and once they have the option to 'have the wedding' will appear in Dialogue, and a scripted wedding scene will happen at the Shornhelm Chapel to Talos.

Would it not be more difficult for other races to court High Elves (we all know how obsessive they are about their supposed purity of bloodlines) ? Perhaps an extra step in the quest would be necessary for other races before they can start the courtship?

Or maybe he's just a very "modern" Altmer. Might be worth bearing in mind if there are any other High Elf courtship characters though.

If the player was the same race, an extra option during Dialogue would appear, and there would be a general disposition boost -nothing more as Lord Eir isn't very descrimatory in this respect (though he will talk down to the player no matter what race they are, thinking all their efforts are 'cute' and 'adorable' not taking the Player seriously, once of his 'negative' character traits).

Also, a thought of what you might like to have on it would be what gifts Lord Eir likes and dislikes. What types of personalities, etc
