Well, not like totally vanishing or anything, but I just don't have the
time to work on the mod anymore (I haven't since last year really).
Basically the point of this post is to revoke my claim on Dragon Wood;
you guys already have the most recent version of it as I posted it in
another thread about my status lol.
So basically I'm not going anywhere or anything, I just won't be working on anything indefinately.

Thanks for letting us know. If you don't mind, I'll merge your latest dragon wood file into the master.

That same thing tends to happen to me during school at least. You will be missed though.

Well I mean I'm not going anywhere or anything, just won't be taking
any more claims, that's all. I'll still be using the forum and so on
obviously.

GOD DAMN YOU, now you've made me come back to working on Skyrim! Curses and drat I say!
I am making some cluttery things, starting with a nice pot, which took
me all of 2 minutes! As soon as the guys on ESF help me figure out how
to get it from Maya 2008 into nifscope into the CS that is...you Max
and Blender users have it so easy with those export scripts.
In summary, I suck at retiring.

Alright sorry for being out of touch for awhile, but RL commitments got
the better of me. That and the fact I no longer have any idea what's
going on with the mod lol. I'm still around, but won't be contributing
anything at the moment. My object creation experiments were an
excercise in frustration (mainly because niftools hasn't updated the
nif exporter for Maya for Maya 2008, which is what I work in) and so
there are simply too many hoops to jump through to get new objects,
which is what I'd have liked to work on, into the CS/game. I'm having a
go at helping Tamriel-Rebuilt in that area though, because I know
several of them use Maya and have the hoop-jumping down to a finer art
than I, and it's a breath of fresh air.
I'd have liked to have seen Skyim through to some sort of playable
form, but the mod seems to have stagnated a bit =(. I know that sounds
a bit mercenary of me, but if I'm going to spend time messing around
with modelling and such, I'd rather do it for a project that is
definate. I've just become sort of...sick of Skyrim, I suppose, as it's
sort of become a cold and lonely existance because we all have RL
commitments and there are comparatively few of us.
So in summary, I'll still be around, but just probably won't be
contributing anything for the time being. If things start moving along
a bit though, I'll definately return from hibernation.

I'm interested in the Fatherland mod continuing, but I'm no modder - I
think that we'd need Alasdair and a few more back if this is ever going
to be finished.
