As far as Mortrag is concerned it's really up to TOYB, I can't really
remember what it was like at the end of BM. Lots of big rocks would
probably do the trick I suppose. |

The Mortrag glacier was destroyed at the end of BM, but we still might
need a few new meshes as even the small leftover pieces of the glacier
look different then stock OB rocks. The glacier pieces have a
square-like shape, but most importantly, they need to have a bottom
side too as they will float in the water.
Modeling-wise we will also need a few ice sheets (like the ones in BM) and icebergs.

For the ones on land, the OB rocks are kind of squarish

Here's the first dark Solstheim rock.
The texture is the westwealdburned02. If you like it, that's what I'll
use for the rest; if not, I set up the uv map so that it's pretty
simple to make a new texture.
Sorry it took all day, but after 6 months and an upgrade to nifSkope, I
pretty much had to relearn how to do this. It came a lot faster this
time around, though.

Looks good, however I think it could do with slightly more faces (or whatever you go by). The texture your using is fine.
I can't wait until you've got colision for it, and have made some more

Collision is on it. Yeah, at only 48 faces (38 verts), this is about as efficient as it gets.
I'll make the next one a bit more interesting.

Yes it looks great, but as TOYB said a few more faces would be nice.

Good work Greybeard. If you guys want another texture, I think the West
Weald rock textures are pretty close to the Solstheim ones. |

The West Weald rock textures are what Grey is already using.

Since I'm busy the next couple of evenings, I though I'd upload the latest Solstheim rocks.
There are now four, and I put them in their proper location along with
an .esp. I figure I'll do a total of 10, and then try Psychotic's ice
tex's on them. |

Just noticed something else you need to fix, some of the UV mapping on
the side of one of the rocks has got some problems...the rock's ID is
1SKxxGBxDkSolRock04.

Bard, I'm not sure by what you mean by the textures are too small. If
you can explain, I can move them in or out as needed. And you're right
about some uv mapping issues. I saw them ingame after I put them up -
and that's not a hard fix, either.

Here's the set of Solstheim rocks.
There are 9 rocks, with both the dark texture and Psychotic's ice
texture. The esp only has the rocks in the inventory; nowhere on the
land. I kept the polys very low, since they'll not be inspected up
close (who stares at rocks?), but if you note some large flaws that you
feel need fixing, just let me know. Nevertheless, you can use these in
the mod, since mesh/texture replacement will not change the item as
long as the mesh name remains the same. |
