They're about as Celtic as they are Maori lol. They have the swirls in common I suppose

TOYB can you post pictures of genuine Maori designs?
these Tatoos were made to be shiny... and to resemble some of the tatoos in FABLE in their shinyness...
I can make them inky...it's simple...a question of editing the normal
map... I'm gonna make a version with other colors.... but now I have to
test the shields in the Leveled lists... and see if everything appears
more or less randomly along with the already existant shields....and if
the appearance of the new shields affects the appearance of the old
ones.... so far so good... |

That's mor maori, but you can tell that it is only for a presentation
of the Haka, traditionaly the Koru designs are tattoed into your face
with a very painful technique involving a mallet or hammer...

wait aren't all tatoos brought into the skin with some painfull method... nevermind

A needlee is lightly less painful than someone using a chisel and
hammer or your face, also that pic you googled is obviously just face
paint

I've been busy with some personal businesses...but I got the time to make a facial painting for the dark Elf ladies. What do you think?

Aww poor turtle
You probably want to get in touch with either the Black Marsh team or
the Elsweyr team about that shield though, I can't imagine many turtles
swimming about in the icy waters of Skyrim.
