[SEE ORIGINAL QUEST THREAD HERE]
There's some disagreement over what the weapon of warrior god Shor should be.
Shor's bio:
Nordic version of Lorkhan, who takes sides with Men after the creation
of the world. Foreign gods (i.e., Elven ones) conspire against him and
bring about his defeat, dooming him to the underworld. Atmoran myths
depict him as a bloodthirsty warrior king who leads the Nords to
victory over their Aldmeri oppressors time and again. Before his doom,
Shor was the chief of the gods. Sometimes also called Children's God.
I think he should wield a claymore... I'll present my argumet.
Stuhn (Stendarr) has a hammer, Hircine has a spear, the crossbow isn't
really a weapon for a true warrior and from all the swords the claymore
is the most bad@$$.

Battle Axe FTW!
Just seems like the perfect weapon to bash elven skulls in, there
aren't enough legendary battle axes in the game, and we already have a
unique claymore in Skyrim (Iceblade of the Monarch). |

If it is an axe, it would have to be a one handed war axe as in Lore we know he had a shield...

If he has a shield in lore then a one handed weapon is the way to go... and the war axe is a good candidate.

He's a god, so he could use a two handed battle axe in one hand.

Wel he wouldn't be the first god to use a two-handed weapon in one
hand, look at Mehrunes Dagon, he has four arms yet carries his battle
axe in one hand.
HOWEVER, you also must take into account that in the Nordic pantheon,
the gods a viewed close to mortal, and even though they have godly
powers they are still susceptible to Mortal aflictions, like death
(This is also true in the RW norse pantheon), which could also posibly
mean they are affected by things like gravity, etc

How 'bout this: A war-battle-axe!
The axe blade will be the size of a war axe blade, but the shaft will be longer then the shaft of a normal axe.

There is all ready a God who has a legendary Hammer, you could actually
acquire it in MW (It was already in the Museum of Artifacts). Stendar,
and Stendar's Hammer.

Definatly the axe, but nw it comes down to a battle axe or a war axe.
In favor of a war axe:
*M. Dagon already has a battle axe.
*Shor is meant to have a shield.
*The Nordic gods are prone to things that affect mortals, like death,
unlike other pantheons of gods, and so would also be affected by
gravity.

It has 2, I changed my vote. The war hammer won by one vote, but it's
mostly up to Karzan anyway. You must admit there are some logical
arguments about it being an axe.
