They are the same, the problem is that the top of the rock has a different texture than the sides, if the view were from overhead you could see what I mean, so really nothing I can do about it, just one of those awkward things about the game.

What about putting a few smaller rocks where the two meet to cover parts of that ajoinment line?

What grass textures did you use Sieg and how'd you get it to cover so much of the ground? Also is this all by hand or pre-generated and tweaked. If it's by hand it's freaking amazing!

I've gotta do the eastern bit of the region and then it's done :)

Just ctrl-click on the ground when landscaping and it should select the texture.

Everything is hand placed-- no generation at all; I wish I had realized the claim was 80 cells before voting to go that route... for the most part everything below the river is done except the extreme western edge, which needs to be detailed a bit. Also the forest could use a few alchemy ingredients and bushes scattered around everywhere, as I never got around to placing everything. The primary texture I used was HDForestDirtGRASS, or something to that effect.

Also, who's going to to the actual Rift itself? That would be a huge task...

Just making sure before I go further.

I replaced my Skyrim Resource Master with the one in the update and now it comes up with a message saying "This master is not the same as the one on the network. Copy the network master over?" I click "No" and it runs fine so I think everything's okay.

Any need for concern?

EDIT: A quick CS pic cos my Oblivion's not working Frown Didn't play it for about two months (just modding) and it CTD's right at the start Frown

I've had that message before, not 100% sure what it means but I think it happens when you have an older version of the esm in one of the directories that oblivion uses other than the the data directory.

About the CTD'ing, what mods do you have installed?

Looking good so far though. Good job!

Well, for some reason it started working again... I dunno

I've done the extreme western edge of the area and am working on getting all of that eastern bit done. Sorry for the slow progress - work's been a bitch and I just really don't feel like modding when I get home every night. I'll definitely try to have something within a week for you though, Al, so you can get the next alpha going...

I might check out those Riften interiors as well...

Hmm...

I haven't progressed much with this, sadly due to the holiday season and all. I need some motivation :) I have about a week and a half before I go back to work. So I'll definitely get back to work and try and get as much done as I can...

I'll send the file to you when I go back (mid-January) so you can really get the next alpha going. Or I can send it you whenever really...If it's not done by then well...I really don't want to have this sitting undone for months so maybe it's better if someone else finished the job.

I think I'm about 40% done. Still a fair few trees, rocks, alchemy plants and Points of Interest to add Frown
