othger races... |
Yes ofcourse...powers. Dres and Hlaalu are eating out of the Empires
hand, Redoran is completly decimated and the Televani couldn't care
less about anything going on. Then there's house Indoril who are
crumbling into dust, and the temple which everyone is leaving. The
Empire has such a strong grip that they banned slavery all together. Even the Nerevarine was working for the Empire! |
********************************************************
I suppose this depends on your(your =in general)(not your=TOYB) interpetation of the events
The Nerevarine may have aided the empire in a round about way by
defeating Dagoth Ur. but I do not believe the empire sent this person
with that specific intent.
The Nerevarine is a threat to the Empire, the soul purpose of the
Incarnate was to Defeat Dagoth Ur, Remove the False Gods (Vivec,
Almalexia, Sotha Sil) and Unite the houses against the the opperssors
(Men) to restore Morrowind
To me this would be a thread to the Empire why would they do that?
This of course is my interpetation
Enjoy
Bob

Let us not forget that had Ysgramor and his 500 warriors not defeated
the Aldmer in the mythical era there would be no empire of man in the
modern era. To me that is the most important war in the history of
Tamriel because it's effects are so profound that nothing would be the
same had Ysgramor not escaped to rally a force. For all we know Tamriel
would still be speaking elvish in the modern era had things turned
against the nords. So in a way, NORDS RULE!!!!
|
what is wrong with speaking elven?
even if ysgramor had gotten PWNed the redguards would have shown up.
chaces are that they would have formed the first empire instead of
al-esh then. |
Fact one: Ysgramor defeated the elves with only 500 warriors.
Fact two: The biggest conqueror in Tamriel, Tiber Septim, was from direct Nordic decent.

Also,
you would have no time to use your screaming techniques, becuase by the
time you open your mouth (or before) you will alredy be dead |
I doubt a Redguard blade/arrow is faster than the speed of sound or has a longer reach.
I just have to have the last word.

That's how the border passes will work, but the rest of the border will be impassable, no way around that.
But don't worry about the invisible wall thing too much because the
border between Cyrodiil and Skyrim is lined with high and unclimbable
mountains.

OH! Well that's not so bad that is almost seemless. What will the gate
look like? Will it be just a door or will it be an impressive large
gate? You know with guards and stuff?

There will be two border passes, one is a small mountain village
(Haerter's Gap, our teaser mod) and I don't know how the other will
look like yet. There will also be an underground tunnel/cavern that
leads to Skyrim, but the player will have to find it himself.
We haven't gotten to the actual gate yet so I don't know, but we'll use
whatever works best. It might be necessary to use a fast travel NPC
instead of a gate though for technical reasons... I'm not sure yet.

Yeah, something like that. The border passes will stay either way though.

One last question(for now
). I was wondering if you are going to have NPC's with beards? It
seemed odd to me how not one man in the whole of cyrodiil didn't have a
beard, nor any facial hair. Maybe it was the warmer climate of
cyrodiil. But Skyrim, as we all know, is colder and much nordic than
anything in cyrodiil. Maybe I'm just asumeing that real ethnic nords
liked beard. Maybe it just seems unrealistic to me when even the
beggers somehow seem to shave every morning. Well anyhow I think it
would be neat, that is if it's possible, which it probably isn't.

I recall discussion of using the beards resource (forget the name of
it) in Skyrim, but I forget how it ended. I don't see a reason why not
though.

Yes, we will use the one and only beard mod that is currently available. To hell with unclipping lip synch!
