I'm hopefully being paranoid here, but Big Bird's not using any of our stuff for his Solstheim is he?

Yes he is, the bridge at frostmouth is ours and the towers are from
Riften (as well as other things). It's just retexed though so he could
replace it pretty easily with the vanilla oblivion stuff.
I hope he's not using my Solstheim heightmap though... that would be pretty annoying.

From the screens he's used one of the special chairs, the arches and
totems from around Dragon Wood, and you now say some towers and the
bridge (I knew the bridge wasn't from stock ob but I didn't know it was
from here either). And nope he's not using your heightmap because in
his thread on ESF he's been asking for a heightmap.
I guess he can't do any harm if he removes the Skyrim stuff from his mod. Hopefully lol.

Darn it, he is using our meshes. So I guess we have to make sure he gets rid of them

Sorry for 'butting in' on your discussion, I was directed to this
thread on an unrelated matter and checked out Big Bird's thread. I
reported it to the moderators and got it locked (link).
Hopefully he'll give up now, or at least change the assets to normal Oblivion ones before posting a second thread.

Thanks Razorwing!
Hmm... we might want to consider protecting our assets in a way like the one ST implemented recently.

Alright, so whats our final consensus on the matter? He can use the Ice
Caves, but is he allowed to use the others? BTW who will contact the
mods to unlock his thread? |

I say he should work with us, if he wants to use the stuff.

As far as I'm concerned he can only use the ice caves. Unless he works
with us he can't use the other stuff that were made specifically for
this mod.

Well he's only 14 or 13 or something so I guess he just didn't know.

It's in one of the stickys in the BSF Modding Forum (both of them), and
BTW I was 14 this time last year (though he is 13, but still).

Bigbird is a Noob, it is most diffently all Postaldude's work, and even then I still isn't that great.

Perhaps if we merged it could be better? Considering thePOSTALdude
seems to be a talented guy and BigBird doesn't seem to be doing much
(fortunately), what I thought is we could offer them a spot on our
forum here and offer them access to all our Solstheim stuff; models,
literature, quests etc. If thePOSTALdude and whoever else joined it
would effectively give us a little team to work on Solstheim, we could
still have input (and they'd likely use our quests and ideas over their
own) and exercise some degree of creative control (which of course
would be one of the conditions).
Thoughts?

I dunno, my biggest qualm is that from the screenshots of Solstheim
I've seen it seems really small, as I recall ours is a lot bigger, also
would we just keep going with the stuff that Big Bird had created (ints
and all that) or wait till we have proper Skaal models? |

Maybe their interiors could be placeholders until our architecture is
done. Perhaps if we caught them soon enough they'd be willing to give
up any heightmap work they've done so far and use ours but I doubt it
=/
