Sharing assets with TES3 Skyrim |
|
I know Psychotics okay with this - as he was the one who suggested it in the first place
- so could we please discuss, what assets the TES3 Skyrim can use? (many thanks from the TES3 Skyrm team in advance).
Here are our boards BTW: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Skyrim/index.php?act=idx
We'd mostly be interested in the sharing of literature, as we have most
of our assets from Solstheim, but Architecture, and things like Shields
(the textures atleast) and other things specific to holds, aswell as
any new (not retextures as such, but we could benefit from the textures
themselves, and assign them models) models made.
Anyway, we thanky much for this SFO (mostly Psy for suggesting
).
And, anything that gets made for TES3 by us, we would most definetly share back with you guys
Cheers,
TOYB

As I said I'm ok with any of the assets being used (except for quests)
because TES 3 is a different game and it won't degrade the originality
of our mod. Of course whatever resources you decide to use make sure to
give credit to the authors.

Since this TES3 Skyrim mod will likely never be finished, I see no harm
in letting you use the resources - as long as the original creators of
all the assets agree. |

Alright sorry-- anyhow , I think it really comes down to whether the
creator of the mesh/texture is willing to give you permission or not,
if so then its fine. |

Hey, could you guys please tell me what new architecture you have that we could use?
I read that you have new stuff for Sunbask Forge and Amol, what does that look like? Any other new stuff?
The only thing I have to offer in return atm is Scorp's models, which
i've already sent over, and if you have no way to get them converted
i'll do it. I've made a new heightmap (WIP pic) for my mod, but I'm guessing its a little late for you guys to use maybe.

Well you guys can use Amol architecture if you would like-- its lower
polly too so it will fit nicely in Morrowind, stylisitically it is
Akaviri inspired, as they occupied Amol for a long time. The set
however, it not too large.
You can use Cow's Palisades, but they're missing a gate, there was however a Palisade mod for Morrowind with a gate.
Sunbask is just retextured Oblivion farmhouses and Bruma LC, so that's
a no go. We do have a custom wall and dirt forge models however--
you'll have to get permission from Psychotic to use that. I'm not sure
you'll actually want to include sunbask in your mod though, as the town
doesn't exist in lore, just something we made up up based off of lore,
the other thing is that it counts on the Pale being a marshy valley
(Sunbask is inhabited by Argonians), but unfortunately on your
heightmap its all mountains, so I'm unsure if argonians would do too
well there. |

Would there be any chance of us being able to use TES3 Skyrim's house
architecture you use in your Vernim Wood? It's a bit late for our
Vernim Wood as I finished it last year, but perhaps Dragonwood could
benefit from it as it has barely been started on.
