Well maybe this will help you trust me Wink . I found this sight just a second ago. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tamriel:Books/On_Lycanthropy

If you look at it it says this: "There are certainly differences between the seven documented forms of lycanthropy in Tamriel, but more similarities.
In Black Marsh and southern Morrowind, werecrocodiles stalk the swamps. Black Marsh also shares with the Imperial Province and the wetter parts of Elsweyr the vile presence of werelions. Valenwood's werevultures are not found in any other province. The wereboar has found both the climates of High Rock and Hammerfell amenable. As I mentioned before, the werebear is the most common lycanthrope in Skyrim, and is also found in the northern parts of High Rock, the Imperial Province, and Morrowind. The werewolf can be found in every province. The seventh lycanthrope, which I have never seen but my trusted peers have assured me exists, is a wereshark that roams the oceans around Tamriel."
I'm not sure if Bethesda wrote this but I think they might have.

Well, there we have it. That is indeed an official book, so those are indeed all legitimate creatures.

My section of Hircine's realm is essentially the "North" section- a snowy forest with some open tundra- so it will likely focus as I said before on boars, bears, and wolves- but if I can figure out a way to implement weresharks I may just go for it.

I think Hircine was exclusively werewolf, he had his hounds and that's all he ever talked about.

But if I'm wrong, I think there was some type of sharks that can survive in arctic conditions. Maybe some freak difference between Nord weresharks and all of the other weresharks.

Hircine was always described as "The Father of Man-Beasts," not just the father of werewolves.

Hircine talked about werewolves in Bloodmoon because they were his hounds for hunting on Solstheim. The way I see it if he went on a hunt somewhere in Argonia he would use werecrocodiles in stead. :)
