It has been talked about, I don't know if any of the projects got around to it though?

Hmm, I don't know yet. Some voice acted NPC's would be nice, but the NPC's must be made first.

Will you go with the annoying Bosmer voice from Morrowind or the standard elf voice from Oblivion?

Yes you don?t wanna make the player have hallucinations of Fargoth and go on a homicidal rampage.

Yeah, hey FLESH, maybe you could change the name of this board to
"Audio Development" or something along those lines? Because voice
acting and sound effects aren't really music...
Anyway, I say the more voices, the better.

So DO you have any dialog ready? Btw I wouldn't do a Bosmer voice if my life depended on it.

Oh wow! I stumbled in this forum thinking this Valenwood add-on would rule, then I find this thread. Cool!
Well, if you guys are still possibly looking for voices for this
add-on, I'd love to help. I do voices for video games and
anime/cartoons for a living, so this really struck me as awesome. I'm
also part of that Oblivion Voice Acting Guild someone mentioned above,
though that's sort of dead unfortunately. The only thing I was able to
voice for Oblivion was my own Wood Elf Voice Mod. There's a couple of demos on my site, if you're interested.
I'm totally hoping this project really starts taking off! Wood Elves for the win!

I loved your character demo. There was a lot of range shown. Do you have any samples where you deepen your voice somewhat?
Just curious,
Steve

More worried about the pc doing damage to itself, though it is not 'mine' - then I would have to swop to another pc

Delighted to hear another VA with such professional voice work! I
second the part about lowering pitch - it's dead easy and can be done
in a matter of seconds (or minutes for lots of files) in Audacity, my
favourite (and free!) piece of audio software!
I'm sure I've come across this before in fact when a contact of mine
mentioned somebody working in radio who wanted to have a crack at
Oblivion work - do you work in radio? You sound like an animated movie
voice-over specialist and you're perfect for Valenwood!
Anyway, I haven't announced myself properly over here but myself and
SACarrow run the Voice Acting Core Board, a small part of the ST
campaign, and we always appreciate looking at new VAs, especially if
they're committed! For anyone wanting to try it but are unsure, try
looking in the Acoustic Department for the board called 'The Whispering
Veil'. I'm not sure if it's locked to members but if it is then just PM
either myself or SACarrow.
In the meantime, to make you more familiar with my work (besides the
complete voice sets for four races that I've done for ST so far), then
take a look at my presentations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2aQlHqHigM , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWSAV6hQgE&feature=related & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf1zSzjo1dw&feature=related . I'm always busy but if you catch me at the right time, I can do bits for Valenwood too.
