The gameplay is shared, I do not think video is? Unless DA would like to share it?
But I don't know how that would work out, people may go for one more than the other, or they might like both.

I was texturing the helmet, then while waiting for the materials to be
made I textured weapons. I should get back to that armour
. Video will be realeased when everything is ready for it to be made hehe.

Dunno how you guys are going for ideas for this vid, but how about
something like this as a short scene amongst showing off the city.
It's night and there are 3 or 4 khajiit walking with torches along the
forest floor, picking their way between HUGE roots of trees, you can
see the trees stretching up into the darkness and there are smaller
trees and stuff growing around, this is all dark, think almost like the
scene from lord of the rings in Moria where you can see the columns
going into darkness, but natural, and then cut to a sort of evil eye
view of the "party." The party stops and the leader turns to talk to
the rest of them, then evil eye view sprinting towards the party, then
pan out and these Igma come jumping off the roots and attack the
khajiit
fight scene
and then the igma victorious pick over the bodies, I guess you could put them in the sneak animation.
Needed: The tree models, I'll try and draw some concept art of what I think this scene should look like
A texture for mulch, dead leaves etc for the forest floor
smaller plants,
the igma meshes fully animated and textured
various weapons and armour textured.
Aprat from that I don't think the scene would require anything else.
Well that's my idea for a sort of "forest can be a dark and mysterious
place."

Ok first we need the models from "the island" from Renzeekin. It's a
mod that will add a new island. A tropical island, Far Cry style.
Including practicvally all the plants you see in Far Cry... Everything
we need in a jungle.
Ok for a trailer.
-black screen, golden letters-
"You thought you had seen it all"
-shot of the gold white tower-
"The Grand Imperial City"
-shot of the Arena-
"The arena"
-Deadra's attacking from Olbivion Gate-
"Daedra hordes"
-Shot from the plains of Oblivion-
"The plains of Oblivion"
-shot of the Grey Fox-
"The masterthief the Grey Fox"
-screens goes black again-
"Well..."
"You thought wrong" (something like a drum at "wrong")
-Wood Elf looks at the player, fires an arrow right into the camera, screens goes white-
-shots from Valenwood, walking trought the woods-
-sound on your right, player looks right, enemy jumps out of the bushes-
-Kahjiit runs, chaged by Bosmer archers-
-shot of a Bosmer Town?-
Something like this would do
Or just:
"You thought you seen it all" (all the shot from original game)
a fully armoured Bosmer archer.
Ending with "You thought wrong" then the archer, end trailer.

Some of these ideas are a bit ambitious if you are using in game
footage, it means you need to use scripted events and then video it. |

I agree, I think a trailer like Oscuros would be good. Starts of
peaceful and quite, panning through the forest, seeing a city, then the
action starts, we put some writing in etc.
I think that should work quite well.

It makes more sense, there isn't much point in enlarging the size of
the file just for an intricate khajiit and bosmer conversation. Btw the
way, the OOO trailer maker is wandering round these forums, he wanted
to do the next skyrim video but maybe he could do yours. REDOmega was
his name I think, have a look. |

I did have a look at his trailer via your link, and I think he is a
funny man, but that trailer showed none of the kind of skills that are
needed for either of these suggested videos.
I would not want to discourage this kind of trailer - film specialists
could do this - but it will take time to build up necessary resources,
which is what inspired the 2D suggestion in the other thread. don't
give up on these ideas, please, they're good.

Ok, since our southern island will be used a bit like a demo I say we
put a lot of lore into it. We need at least on the biggest island some
kind of jungle, real jungle
it needs to show the unique nature of VW. So we also need I think at least 1 new creature. These creatures could be used:
Seacreature
Not sure for his one, it would life deep in the jungle, Or it's really
related to the Mudcrab and we'll n eed to play it by the water.
Bit like the butterflies is SI (yeah I finally got it, but only been able to play it for 50 minutes
) Ok it might seem weird that I only posted creatures of my own, but
hey there not many other sketches and those others don't fit on an
island, we still need some kind of small, friendly monkey, I might give
it a go in the next couple of weeks, so much to draw
We also need to voice act all dialogue. So who's willing to lend his voice? I'm
I got not to much of an accent and my voice is pretty high (at least in my ears
) So it could fit a bosmer male. I think Arbiter could do a Dunmer, if we got one
If we put all our effort in this we'll really draw some attention. And of course new teammembers.
