Well, maybe it's just me, but this one didn't really shine like others did... Do you think you could perhaps give it some more... Evil, frightening, threatening, etc. features? Maybe larger spiked legs or something? Maybe make it look a bit like a flying Praying Mantis perhaps?

I like the beatle look ,makes it seem less menacing and more natural, although a bit more detail would be nice.

As it's described in A Dance in Fire, I think the teeth are supposed to be the most menacing thing, but unfortunately I couldn't really think of a way to draw them. It's described as a "spinning vortex of teeth", I think, I don't know if that was just Scotti exaggerating, or if the mouth spins, or are there just a lot of teeth surrounding the mouth. Also, the legs didn't turn out nearly as sharp as I wanted them too.

And it was described as a beatle in A Dance in Fire as well.

Looks good, but yeah make it more menacing, and the teeth, include hundreds of them going down the throat. Like those big beasty thingies.

Hah, my drawing got owned.

Nice job there, but I don't know if it's just me, or could the top view be ever so slightly thicker? It looks awesome the way it is though.
