I'm a bit new here and am just wondering if this Valenwood project is also covering the Elsweyr Confederacy project. Do I need to download both to get both of the lands or just one of them?

The Elsweyr Confederacy is a different team working on a different province.

We are however sharing a heightmap for many reasons, so there will be a choice for modular (after much work, and that is not priority) but to get the ful experience you will need both.

Oh thanks for the reply. I noticed that the two downloads on both website sections (Valenwood and Elsweyr Conf.) have the same version number. Are these the same download or are they different?
