Hey all, didn't really have any place to put this so I just made a new topic here. I had some computer troubles recently which forced me to reformat and unfortunatly I couldn't back up everything.

This just means I lost all the models i've done, but didn't upload, I also lost the originals for all my models and afew random things I was working on Frown . My 3ds max 7 is also gone which is good in a sense because I have an excuse to go grab Max 8 instead :D .

So i'll be out for awhile till my internet isn't capped and I can download my Max again. Probably doesn't really matter much because we don't seem to be pumping out a lot of models at the moment anyway but I thought it would be best to inform ppl Wink .

Lol thats true :D after I get max 8 I may actually be able to texture stuff myself....well once I learn more about photoshop anyway.

I'm sorry to hear about that Demon. I had a wipe a while back too (no I still have everything I modded :D No need to jump up off your seats like that). I lost everything that was on my computer, it was disheartening but I figured out a way to recover it.

It may be useless now but what I did back then was make a partition drive (take off a bit of my hard drive and create a new one) then from the partition I accesed my old corrupted drive (turns out there was a virus) and took back all the necessary and needed things, put them on CD, then wiped my computer.

Well thats good to hear :) .

Thats a good idea flesh Wink . I've just decided to go and buy an external HD that can have all my backups on it so this won't be an issue again if it happens :D .

Oh and in response to your question about having another go at the architecture in the other thread, yeah I will be modelling it again.

Good to hear =) An external HD sounds good, but I hear they make a damn lotta noise.

Texturing will be a-lot easier and will look better as well as save time using 3dpaint. FLESH take a loot at your PM box, I can use some help man :D
