I think this should be counted as lore. Well I was browsing my pc for screens of Morrowind, while doing that I found this:

Hmm my brother showed me this map and many others can be found on the
Imperial Library... So lets take a look there when we need a map. I
checked and thisone can be found there and a even more detailed one 0_0

I have noted a few errors in these maps and I am sure if you look
closer you will find more, so I suggest that we should be very cautious
about trusting to them alone.
For example, where is Gilverdale? That was a recent event, so it should be on th eoput of date maps...
Think we need to construct our own people...

it was in 2Era.. and there are always some errors.. and
make own base on Heightmap..

This is useful O-mon, bu tit is only a beginning - and it does appear
very rough. What we need is something between the Heightmap and that -
both accurate and giving details of the parchment mappable locations -
but not swamped.
Consider the paper map of Morrowind, but different as we are talking forest here
