I was reading up on the pact the wood elves made and the spirit of them
along with the fact they didn't use any brick or alter the vegitation.
So I came up with this concept art of a tree/vine combo and the idea
that if it were big enough and connect by a spiralling stair of vine
from leaf to leaf it could create a beatiful and natural city of some
kind. If not its still would be a cool pic for new floral. I was also
thinking that if there were huge trees knotholes in trees could fit a
small patch of bandits or one a the very small pitstops between cities.
I view the woodelves as basically roughing it and not having glorious
fountains, but instead having learned to live with natural anomolies in
Valenwood. So in my opinion there really wouldn't be any houses but
mostly just people sleeping in a certain section of the town in the
shade or something.
so tell me what ya think of the pic and other thoughts

would be interested to see the Lore source you are quoting for this, is it something you can bung in a link to?
comments... not entirely sure where you would live in this 'leaf city'?
...and how you would get from one area to the next.
The 'pools' are a very nice touch, and have resolved something that I now realise has been teasing the back of my mind.
Hope to see more of your work... also, if you want to contribute
artwork to the Botany Books (link in Lit Dev, Valenwood) you are
welcome there too. I think your colourful and innovative approach may
prove useful

Because they cannot use wood, or bricks (more of not learning how to
use it for the last one). Most of our Bosmer will be living in natural
style houses. Meaning grown from the ground, or grown around a certain
structure to give it shape.
There will also be hints of Imperial architecture because the Imperials
were sent to help rebuild after the war between Elsweyr and Valenwood.
I like your ideas a lot though, and I think it would be great if you
could keep contributing

Welcome to VW blackshark.
Great picture there, although I don't quite get it without reading through text that accompanies it.

Yeah your probably right they would have some imperial adomptations in
there towns, so it would be more structured. But... this type of Tree
with a winding vine of leaves could be used throughout the forest for
small camps of people or for the player to feel more involved in living
fast and running up and down the trees like a true Bosmer would by
being wild and full of energy. So I think sinse it would be hard to
work in as a city to at least keep it on the side as a general running
up and through the trees sidenote as far as floral. Oooo I can see it
now running up the vines to the leaves making it possible to jump from
one tree to another with high enough acrobatics

Sounds like the mountain people in the Pyranees who traditionally use
momentum to jump enormous distances (usu down) by bouncing off the
rocks and slopes in gigantic bounds to surprise their enemies -
combined with echoing yodelling...
