Ok people since I'm the lead concept artist I'm kind of responseble for
the art that we produce. A thing I would like to say about the art is
that it's not a lot lately. So people get back to that desk
I know this is a amatureproject, it's for fun, a hobby. I know this and
I know we'll never get the level of professionality like the real
studios have. Though we could at least try
So if you got some sketches, they can look like shit, but if they
represent your idea, post them. Thisway people can point out if things
are fundamently wrong with your design and even more important, it
inspirates other artists. That's how I got my Ranger amror(The green
scales).
Further it is usefull to draw the same thigns as an other artist, let
us choose. THisway we get way better designs. Someone can come up with
stuff you never would. So modellers, if you see a sketch you really
like, don't start right away. First let everyone choose the final
design.
I know RL can swallow all of our time. I still need to draw things for
Valenwood, Xylo pauldrons, more detailed female Khajiit armor, got
idea's for Minotaur armor and a new mushroom architecture style I came
up with last night. So people grab those pencils

I agree on all points you made, but I'd also like to add that we
desperatly need more moddelers who will model all those goodies you
sketch, even more than new concept artists.

Hmm I got this guy in my MSN contactlist that likes the mod. He's a good modeller. Could ask him.

You could.... you should.
Perhaps people think we have to use some extra software to model for Ob or something?

Thought we are modelling for TES4 Valenwood - besides we can import
models from just about any software now. Maybe FLESH would like to
include that in the ESF Thread?

We can never have enough modelers or concept artists at this stage.
Anyone you know is a welcome addition, and that goes for everyone. I
have recruited the help of a couple, some freelancers (Mighty-Joe-Young
and Jcarl) and some permanent (Azkur, an amazing modeler but I have not
yet had the chance to show pictures of his work).
If any extra software is needed I find a way to get it.

I'm here if needed
just gimme concept art, haha... unless its me making the concept art...
in which case, descriptions and maybe a stick figure drawing would be
nice.
(it in this thread so I know where to look)

Specifics and reference images also help. I use blender.
