With a botanic garden(On which design I'm working) It's an old
Altmer/Ayleid building, it used to be some sort of garden for mages,
but it was lost and when abadoned the mages hid it with a spell. Over
time the spelleffect worn off so the mageguild could find it. They soon
realised the value of the garden and with the bosmeri controll of
plants they started to rebuild the garden. So all the "gardeners" will
be bosmermages, maybe a few peasents for the real work. Bosmer will
life in planthouses, the peasents in house matching the style of the
tower.
I'm done with a sideview, now I need to do the topdownview of the
botanic garden. I hope to finish it tomorrow. Now I call it a night,
speak to you in the morning.

You are still forgetting to create the plants... and no cheating using
Imperial or Morrowind or Hammerfell or High Rock plants either...
Also you have not discovered what all the new ways for Bosmer to control growth and plant are...

Sure I got plants, and I can use all Tamrielic plants, that's the
point. Almost all plants can be found here. Even the non-native because
of the bosmer magic. Way's to control the plants? I would go with
meditating and singing. But since that requires new animations, just
singing whil shoveling etc.
As for new plants I got 5 here. There all agressive though, but I could
make some new. Oh and I got a plantlamp, so 6. And I got Far Cry
I think we should make lots of their plants, since they're real plants there shouldn't be a problem with copying

The second picture really inspires me. I'm loving this idea very much.
Fortunately at the time of posting this I have asked Mormacil all my
questions on MSN, so my post is cut short. The glass roof idea is
great, the building has much potential to be really beatiful in-game.
The quest I am liking too, it can be a nice mini adventure for the
player. But how do we make it uninteresting before the player finds out
what it really is? Consider this:
The Aylied were probably much more powerfull magicians than anything
the currnt TES world has. So perhaps because our mages can't make it
disappear, they put a huge Illusion over it? Disguising it as any old
ruin etc.
Hmm, keep up the good work everyone.

As for the quest of opening the basement:
- Find a key in another ruin
- Go trough a ritual at full moon or something at a special place to get a special unlock spell.

Before we go into this, we need to develop the MG quests.

You'll get more I think. I think I'll keep this style for all Altmer ruines. It could, lorewise.

Not that I want to discourage more but that would mean even more models
and we already have a lot of work to do as it is not to mention the
increasingly large dl size.

The DL size will only get larger, and new models are inevitable. If
it's the pods that are bothering you, then don't worry, we should have
them soon enough. And remember, these are not priority yet (ruins).

As long as you think its alright I'm all for it. More models means more
variety and more fun. Not to mention it would be cool to have new ruins
for Southpoint.
