I know I'm not the only one who wants to get started on defining some
VW plant concepts and I had myself somewhat of a lazy sunday afternoon
(as the Small Faces would say) and found some old art stuff and decided
I'd try my hand at painting a few flower thingys. Don't know if these
will be of any use but its a start I suppose; I dont think they are so
bad considering its my first try at painting in a long time!
From left to right; Stalk thingy | Tropical flower? | Flowering creeper | Flower/Lily | Trimmed bud of some sort

You don't get to see painting sketches that often here.
Looking cool and very vibrant.

cool
I was surprised at how fun it was to paint, I was frustrated at first -
I only have naff old brushes which are all frayed heh but it was really
enjoyable giving my crappy sketches some life with colour

They look great. Only thing is, #s 2,3, and 4 resemble stock oblivion
plants. #2 looks like mana bloom, #3 looks like morning glory, and #4,
although I can't name the exact object, I can swear I've seen sevral
times in oblivion.

Cheers, its very possible they are similar to Ob plants though it
wasn't intentional. I cant say I have come across mana bloom but now
that you mention morning glory I can see the similarities there.

Heyyyy, number 4 is very, very - do you suppose that you might persuade
Mormy to swop that disgusting mess on his floor for one of these?

They'll look much more tropical if they are large, brightly colored and over grown.. Great concepts.
