Testel fingered the arrow from point to feather, setting it within the bow and the string, and proceeded to stretch it until it could go no further, a testimony to any carved stone wall figure. He steadied his aim toward the ogre, and released.

The blood from the ogre followed the arrows dynamic, straight through his body, out his back. He fell to his knees.

"Dared first, then torn. That's what they said I would become... looks like they were right."
The ogre grinned widely in a bitter sweet way, kindly for an ogre.

"Pity isn't a pleasant virtue to unwrap. Mind if I finish this?" stated Testel, looking at the ogre in the eyes.

"A god of fools is Stendarr. Send me into the abyss." replied the ogre.
He gripped a pile of dirt, and brought it to his face, and kissed it.
"I return to you now."

The elf raised his head, eyes fixed upon him. He proceeded to retrieve another arrow, and placed it in the bowstring, and aimed. He pulled it, once again, until it could go no more.

The caravan rode steadily to Ostenburg. The wooden wheels continued to buckle and crackle against the dirt and rock. The horses feet stamped along the road, behind it, a long trail of dust, along with the horses engravings.
"How long until Gren grad?"
"Just over the hill"
"I see. In here for the guild?"
"No... it's a matter of family"
"House member?"
The woman, now labeled house candidate, looked at the young Breton in a startled way.
"No, no of course not."
He leaned back, feet against the bench across from him, next to her.
"Sorry I asked"
She looked straight forward. Silence begin to settle in the conversation, the ambiance taking over once again.

"You're a crusader aren't you"
She said it with such distaste, as if he were vampire spawn. The words fell back without a meaning, and all that was in the boy's head was anger in reaction to the tone.
"And you were raised fancily, sheltered no doubt"
"Get off of it."
"You're the one paying for the services."
"Oh! Don't you da-"
"Understand where you're coming from?"
"Pish-posh..."
A long silence was abrupted by the trolley official.

"We're coming on up, arrival in four to five minutes, please gather your belongings."

Wow amazing, how long are they going to be I want to read the full story of the first one now :) . Stories and books really bring a mod like this alive.
