Hey there Revolution,
We can use all the new members we can get. And I like some of your
work, perhaps you could try composing some frantic battle music? And we
could really use a texturer. Can you UV map aswell by any chance?

Sorry cant do that, I'm just good at sigs and banners and changing stuff in pics.
Guess I could try record some stuff, maybe some clean ambient stuff too?
I can download a online keyboard and make some stuff too if you wanted?
Any details on what file types, file sizes or anything?

Thats ok.
Yes ambient stuff is great too, and go ahead with the online keyboard
About file type: No idea, but for simplicity I think mp3 would work fine? And file sizes, anywhere from 4-6 mins per piece.

Hey there,
Your guitar work is good but not in style to obilvion (well the metal isn't).
The sound files need to be mp3 at a 192kb/s bitrate

Then I also suggest you try Apocalyptica (metal band
) Some great stuff with cello's. I suggestion: Keep it light and have
at least some fastpased pieces . Valenwood is a dence jungle full of
live, further Bosmer and quick, agile and playfull. It would be great
to have that resembled in the music. This is just a suggestion, so not
an order

3/4 bar right? all I can say is play it more "forte". It's a bit to
slow at this moment. When I listen to it I hear sadness, perhaps a full
moon. What I want to hear is a forest, a small river, butterflies so
perhaps play it a bit more "majeur". Might want to use some sort of
bells. On the other hand dark woods are fine too, feeling the wolfs or
bears prey upon you

The starts feels to modern for me. Although the rest seems alright, has
a nice sad touch to it. Raggidman seems to be the expert on music here,
perhaps he will drop by.

As I said on MSN, I like it. It's really imporved since the first raw version
I really think we should implent location based music
Nothing fancy just some songs restricted to certain areas.

Hey Revolution, I love your first one for some reason, reminded me of
MIDI music, and the good old Zelda days. as for the second one, That
sounded like a Metal influenced song.
It was really nice but my only critique is that the rhythms were
awesome in a way, but it seemed cluttered, and didn't flow properly. I
want you to do me a big favor, You have some awesome potential you just
need to harness your talent to actually fit in the flow of a mod like
this. I want you to search on Deviantart.com , the keywords: Forests,
Meadow, Green Pasture, and most important Elves (Woodelves), etc.
absorb the aura from those visual content, and splatter that feeling in
a song. I have 100% Confidence your gonna get some amazing music done!
Keep up the awesome work!
Edit: I just listened to your Metal, WOW Very cool, Really like. I
think the reason you are having problems, is that you are porting from
Metal to this style. You should listen to SolarRainUK. He's the style
of music you might want to achieve similar results like his work or
even something radically different but still What would fit into the
mod, which I think your gonna do, Every artist has a different view of
things and output it as they see it (in this case, as they Hear it).
Heres a link to his songs:

Dark walk was really scary! and Skyrwind, was really melodic! Your
getting it, the music is starting to really fit into the world of this
mod. Kudos to you. Now the only critique, would be, that its in a way a
bit simple and it might sound cooler if you add little sound effects,
like xylophones, little twinkles etc, and not only sound effects but
other rhythms in there too. I dont know if you understand me, but hope
you do. Keep up the amazing work!!!
By the way, What program are you using? Fruity loop?

Yea I'm using Fruity Loop Studios, I know what you mean with the little
effects, do you want them on the proper music? Its hard to find good
soundfonts like twinkles etc

Hey revolution, You got to check out this music, Its a mod for Oblivion
also, but the music for the 3 Trailers Are AMAZING. Heres the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flEj-1LYH...related&search=
Watch the two other trailers if you have the time.
As for sound effects I think fruityloops carries some, but I didn't use
the program in soo long that I forgot the layout, I'm gonna re-install
it and see if I find any sound effects, Ill try to find some on the
internet.

Hey I have an idea, You are awesome with the guitar right, Then why
dont you try to use the harp, and put some rock tempos or whatnot, into
them and see what happens.

Hi there revolutioN - visited your site when you first posted and noted
your work - in a rush at the time so I had no time to offer comment.
Now I cannot access your new offerings
maybe because you are using a new site or the way you have linked them has changed.
What we need is classical / folk / mediaevil / what have you ... think
forest and nature - think light for fun and harsh/twisted for corrupted
bits - there is evil buried in even the holiest of places ...
One piece we have not seriously considered is the Wild Hunt - that means Horns and such probably ...
Simple stuff is fine and technique is important = if you are unsure
that you can solo a piece that you have created then don't be afraid to
bring other people in to play for you either from here, the net or back
home ... I did that way back with my own stuff and I got mixed results
- some was wonderful input and a load of stuff that I just chucked. So
I guess that the idea is not to worry if something does not work the
way you want, just bang in another
all the best
