Teaser Island Quests! |

Hey guys,
Now I've got a few quest ideas which I want people opinion and input
on. Any other quests people can come up with which I think will fit
would be great.
New Weapon:
Start on med island is the "crazy man" house.
Find scribbled story on his desk about a special bow etc
Ask the crazy man he says it just made it up last night.
In cave - Very winding with many dead ends come across a locked door.
Crazy old man has the key but has forgotten memory. <- you get hinted
Need to make a potion from the new flora to get his memory about the key.
He remembers and asks for 1000gp for it (pay for booze)
Go to cave kill guard retreive the bow.
Pirates - Maybe, Maybe not?
Hint from boat owner about pirates
Hints from other villagers.
Guy on his own (med island), very abrupt/rude
Clues around his house. - sextant, rope other boat things.
Find his row boat
Confront - fight
Sabotage?
Lighthouse - (need a model)
Glowing stone has been broken (no fire as it uses wood)
Told about how they are made using the starlight spell impregnented special rock which can store magica.
Told to find a cave to retrive some of the special ore.
Lighthouse is fixed
Recieve a prize of a small stone which slowly regenrates magica used to recharge weapons. (spare ore)
Will need someone to script once they are perfected,
So what do you think,

Still very tired so no real opinion now, just some things to say. First
of all, I'm already working on a lighthouse for Bosmeri for SACarrow,
so we can use the same sketch
He suggested the use of driftwood for a fire, could be used on an island.
And Qazaaq has voluntered, yeah he really did
, as a scripter for our quests.

The quests seem good for distractions to the player, and the bow is a
nice prize. The question is should we also have a MQ about the Islands,
or stick to misc. quests? I like the quests you have so far
, I think we should start a more detailed description on them and start planning the dialouge.

I will pm some people to see if they would detail it out, so anymore
ideas guys?I may be able to do a lighthouse but my moddelling is poor.I
may be able to modify the existing Ndib buildings, Ill see!

At some point can we include the first chapter of cruxvader's "Prelude" book in the Teaser? link here
I have done a little work on it, and I now get a tiny raised hair on bonce feel = which usually means someting is alive

I was thinking about the 'prelude' book because it opens the
possibility of linking in the sense of larger issues and struggles to
come while the player is getting used to the new stuff ...
But I have been wondering if Bosmer in Valenwood will behave exactly
like Bosmer in other Provinces and your post earliermade me think -
maybe Bosmer abroad, away from the forest are more often wound-up and
ornery than at home?
So it might be fun to have a broader range of personalities in this
teaser: the fun-loving types, the religious, etc new personality types?

Yer I will hapilly include a selection of literature to the teaser? Got any other ideas.
Also I need a few better quest ideas, as I havn't got a lighthouse
model + do people think a slight pirate based mod is suitable for the
islands?
Also anyone willing to write the script for the quests, especially the Crazy man as thats a definate one.

I think a pirate mod would be perfect for the islands and you're ideas
for it sounded good. Maybe the player could steal their boat and use it
as a home or even fast travel.

If the player got a boat, but had to abandon it when returning ot the
mainland, but could return later to reclaim it and use it fo rfast
travel to coastal and river destinations that connect to the sea?
Aslo you might do a quest on the Narmatee - like poachers after it's horn?
