Soon we will need creatures for the islands i'm modding. As we dont have any moddelers/riggers at the present retextures of existing creatures is all we can do. Although a good retexture can totally change the look of a creature:

At the present I can use (when permission are granted)
Complete:
Jungle Tiger (MMM by Koldorn)
Jungle Spider (MMM by Renekin)
Boar? (Vanilla)


To do:
Harlequin Land Crabs (retex of mudcrab)
Queen Alexandra's Birdwing Butterfly (retex of vanilla FX)
Jaguar (retex of jungle tiger)
Tropicalfish (i can rig but dont enjoy it!!)

Has anyone got any ideas of other creatures we can retexture to use in the Teaser Islands? Once we have got ideas we can find people to do them (i wouldn't mind doing a couple anyway).

Well when we got customs ones I suggest my seacow Tongue Anyway we'll use normal mudcrabs for certain Tongue Further what could we use? Retextured Baliwogs? They seem very aquatic Tongue Anyway going to catch a movie on TV Wink

I would have to see all your quests, but what I think we need to consider is how 'dangerous' the location is and the kind of levels of habitation. Also do you have pirates here?

Mudcrabs?! on a tropical beach. Although I did do a retex for my Alivewaters mod. I removed the rocks from the crab making it looks totally different. BAliwogs are from SI right? Yet to get it as I have so much to do in Oblivion first.

This has a few limited ideas, unfortunatly nobody is really adding to it:
Teaser Island Quests!
Scripts for the characters will ned to be written v soon. So anymore ideas?
The thick forest should have some dangers. We also need suitable cave creatures (skeleton pirates maybe). Although i'm not sure how you make skeletons like pirates without adding to the model.
We could retex the Natural Environments birds but the dont acts like parrots?!

Mudcrabs can be found over all Tamriel I think. It's a great coastel creature. Baliwogs are indeed from SI and can heal in water :)

Maybe instead of mudcrabs, red colored crabs thzt fit better with the envoriment?

Ill try it when I get to that stage, so anymore retex ideas?! 3 creatures is really lacking.

These will look good though I must admit. Ill add that to the list!!

I think the one below would be nice:


Sharks already appeared in other games, and dolphins aswell if I'm correct. So a lot of fish vaiety would be interesting.I believe that even monkeys exist.

Yeah you could do a monkey, the tang-mo for Akavir, could be used. Just shrunken down and given monkey sounds.

KE - That will look amazing, we have got to get some texturing requests out soon. Sea life would be good but like I said I really dont like rigging thing much. Ill prob do a couple of fish and trade with Renekin to get another 2.

OM - I cant model! Also I cant do everything, I need some help with quests retex's etc. How are the interiors coming along BTW. The tang-mo are monkey people not monkeys a small version of them will look stupid.

Morm- Have you got someone to do the script for weapon quest. Also how is the region map coming along!!

BTW I have not had the time to work on the interiors, I have had to work on my own mod but I will start them today.

Yer he offered to do it before for AliveWaters but I never rigged anymore fish.

Dont worry about the interiors I've still got a bit of landscaping to do. :D

Maybe we can ask alive waters permission to use some of their fish? They even have koi , those japanise things in a separite file.

Well, ask yourself permission! I'm sure your shizo like all of us! The koi are tropic I think. And it would be nice to give the fish a high aggresion , something like 70 and a 0 coinfidence, if I'm correct, that would make them attack you or sharks, but even before they hit you they would get scared and swim away, faking the behavior of real fish. Make sure you make a fish faction so they won't get scared of eachother.

Fish behavior is fine ill just use my AliveWaters script. I moddeled some brain coral once so ill put that in. I need to find a suitable texture for the coral rocks (hard to find)

Also if anyone could do any retexs from the first post that would be great.
