I'll probably be a while reviewing these two ints, at tops a few more
days - I just have not been able to get near the OB capable comp, which
obviously while being OB capable is in great desire by my two COD4 and
Sims owning siblings.

Ok this is odd. I cant coc to the cells in game, definitley have them ticked and definitley typing the right cell name.
My Oblivion is being crap as well, for some reason the 'land' isn't
materialising when I go outdoors, this is probably the reason why I
cant get to the cells.
I can load them up in the CS however and have had a look at the house, its very cosy and well created. The only niggles were:
- Double bed bleeding into floor slightly
- wooden chest near barrels and crates very slightly bleeding. (take a look from above by pressing 'T')
- The bookshelf has a few objects which are placed at odd angles, mainly the books, one of them is floating slightly.
These are minor problems though, you only really have to fix the bed as
that could (I think!) have an implication on NPCs getting in and out of
bed.
I also get errors when loading in CS (though probably related to me OB problems rather than a dirty file).
They say: Error adding persistent cell (0100D2FS) to world space (01000CE7).
Datahandler: unrecognised form.
Unable to find quest reference (04001810) on topic 'GREETING'
Some bad forms during load could not be removed.
the errors are probably my own problems but until I can find a fix I cant properly review your mods.

Weeeeeeee, new models rule. But I need those lichen thingies that emit light !!!
Can't wait to place them.
And thanks for your review, I try my best but as you see, there are bugs I don't see =P
Oh . Tell your brothers they'd have to be good this year to get their
own computer. And they already messed that up ... soooo.... if they are
good from now on, I might let me persuade of giving them a MAC ....
maybe ...

Durdain - if you get the missing land bug its probably because you are
enabling the master file when you load obivion. That wont answer the
file errors.
drmccoy - Could you please send me a link to a few of the cave meshes
(as morm is yet to) so I can scale the lichen and make it fit better to
the pieces. Just the meshes will do. I have done the glow maps and got
the Nif scripts I just dont have anything to scale them to etc.
I have also exported the pots but dont know how to use the blender
collision exporter so I got the tut now to do tonight. Yer some amber
pots will come.
I have also made an amazing render of the coral with lightrays and
everythink. Its no good for obivion but I wanted to improve my
moddeling/rendering skills. I render it full quality (6 hours +)
tonight hopefully. |

Ouff. I don't have an exporter for the meshes. I'd have to download
programs to export the meshes out of the compressed archives. Most
modders should have it. Can maybe somebody else upload some meshes so I
don't have to extract all of mine? If not, I'll do it *sigh* lol
Not wanting to be sassy, but we have a new law going on in Germany
controlling pretty much all your up-and downstream. I don't know if
that would be illegal, but I just don't want to risk it if it can be
avoided ^^.
But as I said, if really nobody else is up to it, I can do it I guess..

No prob, morm sent them to me
. Tommorow should be the date.
The blender collision exporter is so good takes like 1 min to make one from a script. Pots should be ready aswell

Lookin at your video at a slightly higher resolution Windy I am
wonderin if those walls could be semi-opaque/illumination-transparent?
No images pass through, but natural light does to some degree?
If they are of a membranous, resinous, pearly or fine chitinous material?
Rather than plaster or some such? That might be a fine example of a
Green Pact-evolved buildin material? But as these are the islands
outside the forest proper wood has been used for the frame?

The review I hoped to bring to bear here is not likely this century, PC
is now scrap along with all my interiors and some very important
university work.
Just in case you were expecting it

Durdain very sorry to here it. Loss of work especialy for studying is
so frustarting. I am not gonna let the islands die and the majority of
them are complete. There are only a few vanilla objects and with the
new models I've made they are already very unique. A few resources from
others modders and its even better. Just need some interior moddlers as
I cant do it here on my laptop. Some scripts for quests and putting it
all together. |

Mormacil, If you want to contribute to a part of Valenwood that's
great. You know we still need your talent, but please don't try to junk
all the stuff we have because you don't want the responsibility of
taking on so much. You can specialise in one area if you like - and why
not? Others may feel differently. I know I do.
Once the Islands are completed the next area of focus has to be the
Borderlands - and though I would like to link up to the Islands
straight away it really has to be in the north because that is where
Elsweyr is currently doing the most - inthe Els desert = NW Els.
There is a burned out wreck of a town up there devestated by one of the Daedra Princes in passing, and plenty of other stuff.
As Els work in the desert progresses their developed area will expand
and then we will be able to collaborate in cross-border pollination
projects - shared vegetation, and even buildings where the Khajiit have
taken over Bosmer territory for example.
Once that is nicely settled we move south down the border together
towards the tropical areas and finally the mangroee swamps of the coast
where we join up with the Isles!
Each stage should be presented as a project in itself that is part of
the whole, with a full release for each area, as each is added into the
previously completed landmass. In this way we will be able to attract
more people by presenting smaller and more comprenehensible targets,
but we do not lose the vision of an entire Province as the ultimate
goal.
What we gain by this means is added focus. No more people going off and
getting lost in the great green never to be heard of again, and everone
working closely together to complete specific projects, supported by
each other and heartened by the progress that their friends are making
around them that immediately enriches their own efforts.
The worst mistake Els and Valenwood ever made was to walk away from a totally integrated Border - for the same reasons.
It seems you want to mod and model rather than plan and lead Mormy - so do that with everyone's blessings!

As I said when I first joined, I wanted to do art, I take no joy from leading. Not that I'm a sheep but I'm a loner(ogue)
I'll continue to do some art from time to time. I might focus first on
the south what go my interest, you can always use the art later and I
might got stuff to dump in my portfolio.

- and Windy will be happy to have more support in that direction I am
sure, what with his travelling and tough on-line situation.
I've always said that it is the plants and trees and such that have to come first ...

Indeed it is, but it is one of the longest parts because it is where the feel of the world will be.
