Questwise this is great but it being so huge makes me think we should have choice involved somewhere.
The 'essence' hit in the core of the Oak could be something a little
bit lame like 'the spirit of the tree' / 'lifeforece' and the player
could fight it once its released and end of problem but I think thats a
little poor.
Once the core was hit perhaps the tree stump starts to bloom again,
this would be a process over thousands of years of course and the
player would never see it realised (far to difficult!) but would see
some of the effects of its inception. Of course this suggests that
Graht Oaks are machine like and require disrespectful cutting to the
core in order to 'reactivate them' so theres a big hole in that plan..
