Tell you what. I keep and breed all kinds of insects etc as well as
many types from my trips to the bornean jungle and can come up with
some great additions.
I will draw up some ES-ified versions for you over the next few days!

Right, have coloured these in a little on Pc.
This is based on the tree hugger/clinger\dropper idea.
These are tiny sketches about 3cm in real life, will do larger ones for any chosen creatures.
Heres a brief description...
Lives in forests and sometimes caves. A star shaped body with fly-wing
looking skin flaps between the limbs to encapsulate its prey. Hangs in
the canopy on misty nights emitting frequent rat sound to attract its
prey then swings down while holding on with 3 limbs, scoops up its prey
and gathers its limbs together holding tight onto a tree branch and
exudes its guts, and digestive fluids into the sack with its quickly
digesting prey.

Ever played HL 1 or 2? This reminds me of a mix between the barnacle and head crab. Great work, looks pretty good

Like it! Concur with the half life flavour also.
How big would these beasties be?

Played HL when it came out so seems like a looooong time ago. Quite
big. Maybe 10-15ft tall stretched out and about 7ft while feeding.
Will await more feedback before doing some good drawings. If its too HL
I wouldn't want it. Although this is bigger and scoops prey from trees
while hiding in fog. You hear a rai when your in a foggy forest and you
be careful!

The only problem (a minor one) I foresee is application. If one of
these beasties scoops up the player, it's game over. I don't know how
well a player would be able to fight their way out before they die if
they get chomped up. Otherwise, it's wonderful.
And while you're waiting before moving on:
*cough* clutter *cough* please *coughcough*
Excuse me, there was something in my throat.

Oh and I did think about the player aspect...
I didn't say I came to any conclusions though!
Maybe have them a little smaller. they just attack deer etc... but then
they are kind of pointless. Maybe we all need to have a think.
anyway, I have started MY CONCEPT ART thread. Check it out!

Just some info Rickious, that concept art thread is on the Silgrad
Tower mod forums, keep in mind they are a completely different mod.
It's cool if you want your concepts to be used by all mods. But say if
you have Valenwood specific, or Skyrim specific concepts it might be
best to post them in the respective forums. As they might not be
completely suited for every mod. Checked out your thread and you have
some fine skill with the pencil

I do like the idea of crossing over certain elements, Something common
in one place could be a one off occurrence in another. I personally
just want to input and am willing to work on all the mods. Wont really
slow me down time wise. I have either got time to draw or not. I'm
quick when I'm doing it. This tree-thingy-star-sack took about 10
minutes.
I dont mind doubling up a little in my posts. I.E. I will post
everything in my artist ad, and also individually in the specific areas
too. But dont worry as I'm not uploading to this forum, they are all
links from an external gallery. So bandwidth wise it shouldn't be a
prob. Let me know if it is!
