Just thought I'd post something I've been thinking about as regards the
'feel' of Valenwood. Its nothing special really but there are quite
some similarities between the Bosmer and native Americans - right down
to haircuts, mohicans etc.
I think it would be cool if we pushed this influence, tee-pees made out
of bone and hide are viable green pact housing we could have modelled.
Tapestries could depict deer running in an aboriginal (sp?) style. A
lot of native American tribes were fractured just like the Bosmer
tribes, they worshipped animals and their spirits, they worshipped the
forest and trees etc.
The whole look of native Americans is one I think is really cool and
the whole colonial exploration could relate to Imperial invasion, the
wilds of Valenwood mirror the wild Americas a little after all.
Anyway just thought I would post it here in the core and get your ideas on what you think about such an image?

Seems like a good idea that should be developed with some more thoughts
and concepts, why not post it in the main forums too?

Yeah just thought Id get the other core members thoughts on it
beforehand. There is a very rich culture in native Americans that I
know for me personally very rarely appealed (never got into the cowboys
and inidans thing as a kid) but I'm just discovering. Its very cool.

Yes that would be very poor, I dont actually have a true picture of
what native Americans look like. I know they are varied and I only have
what I have imagined with some of the novels I've read. Its just the
similarities between what I've been reading and the Bosmer I see in the
games and as described in the pocket book are very close.
These pictures are very interesting, + quite scary! (French gasmask man and dog is horrid).
