Just got the last pieces today so here is the new machine (not top of the line bu t should be good)
Asus Motherboard
AMD X2 4800 processor
2 GB Memory
ATI X1600 512 MB Card
4 120 GB Hard Drives (one is an SATA 2 card, the others have all the worthwile data)
Creative Audigy 2 Sound (also from the old machine)
Creative Speakers
Connection to Comcast Internet
Win XP 64
Now I should be able to use the Oblivion CS better!

Sounds good. I hope that by time the heightmaps done I have my graphics
card. I'm ordering from zipzoomfly, which had the cheapest price, and I
heard it was a good site. |

It's not top of the line but as I've been hearing it's not necessary.
X1600 should be good enough for Oblivion and will give me a good
machine to get the landrun up and ready!

I'll be starting today on it. But there may be a fourth machine coming
in as well. My younger brother is giving me another one to deal with
(So I'll have the Athlon 4800, the old Pentium 450, the laptop and
whatever is being given me plus the parts I have). Too many computers,
so much time

Well, when you get another computer, you could always send one of the
old ones to KuKulza (on condition that he sticks to one Avatar only!)

Have to order 1 more part. The new motherboard won't support 4 HD's so
I've to get another IDE card (2 of the HD's have the Morrowind and
Oblivion data)

The funny thing is that 1 TB drives should be available soon. It will
probably be 5 years but a terabye a dollar should become available
|

Well right now we wouldn't have much use for 5 tb drives. But if there
out companies would make use of them for higher res textures, and more
content in game. Poeple would need tb drives (When they are the norm) |
