Somehow, I think it will turn out exactly the same, but it is safe just to be sure that is what everyone meant.

I'll give it another go. Since the discussion is about the gridmap I'll
need someone to give me a new one for the entire Morrowind area, not
just one area.

You used the wrong version of Prometheus' map though.
Bethesda placed Solstheim much farther south than it should have been,
distorting the coastline around Blacklight. TR had to factor that into
account, so that's why Prom's new map looks like that. However in
Oblivion's timeline the distorted coastline was restored and Solstheim
bumped further north, like seen on the official map on
elderscrolls.com. So, Prometheus' old map is actually truer to current
lore in that regard.
I don't understand why we can't use the grid map I put together,
especially since it incorporates the concept map of the south landmass
and so would give better information. Actually I don't understand why
we should mod the whole Morrowind Province landmass either, since it's
not in our skope. If we ever do, and the existing landmass was built to
scale from the linked grid map, it shouldn't be a problem to continue
modding the Province if we ever decide to expand further south either.
There's an on-going core vote regarding the scale, and hopefully we'll have a decision on that within a day or two.
I hope development on it can get underway promptly after that. "No city is an island unto itself",
to distort a quote, and apart from connecting our cities I'm looking
forward to setting up claims in the wilderness, tooling on farms and
mini-villages, hopefully modding a Velothi tomb or two (or ten).

Does Vvardenfell team creates their own landmass? or Rodan makes shared landmass?

I would like a shared landmass that also included the entire Morrowind
province, including the islands for Port Telvannis. That way any future
projects in Morrowind can be part of it as well. Pelegiad would be at
(0,0).

I don't know who moved it to the tavern but I would like it kept to the Blacklight claims area until I get to test #2.

That was discussed a lot as well, if I recall correctly, how
unrealistic it was to see the spire of the Imperial City from half the
Province. I know that when I was coming down from Bruma and saw that
spire I was immediately struck with the feeling that I was trekking
through the mountains north of the Imperial City, rather than exploring
the northern reaches of the Cyrodiil Province. I think it'll be really
cool to actually get lost in our wilderness and actually feel like
you're a long way from civilization.

Actually you are supposed to be able to see the spire of the Imperial City from a very long distance away.

But as close as you are, being at the edge of Cyrodiil and all, you
shouldn't be able to see that far. It doesn't really seem all that
massive if you can see all the cities in Cyrodiil from one mountain
top. I stand on top of a skyscraper downtown and I can't even see all
of the city, let alone my state or country.

Look, White-Gold is supposed to be huge.
REALLY huge. Much thicker and even TALLER than is appeared in the game.
There aren't that many structures on Tamriel that are bigger.

If we are going to limit all development of the Eastern extent of our
map to the eastern edge of Vvardenfell permanently then that makes
sense - otherwise I suggest that if it is useful to have the 0,0 in the
center then it might be somewhere around Vivec? Well, just identify the
mid-point on a map of the Province as a whole...
Something like that should be a matter of universal agreement...
Actually I am astonished that there are no projects taking in the
remainder of the Province... Morrowind IV will be the only 'partial
Province' of all the affiliated mods - and as ST assoc seems to be the
founding centre of our Nirn I feel that is theoretically rather a poor
show...
(note the careful lack of mention as to who is going to do all the hard work
)

I've been working on both the new landmass and the city. Each version
of the city has not been doing so well. I have to research the TES to
get some more info.
